| Hello , My name is Nathan Patman. I am in my 2nd season driving the #29 Mayhem Motorsports Indiana Super Stock. I was born July 20th, 1979 in Seymour Indiana to Scott and Libby Patman. I am a 1997 graduate of Brownstown Central High School in Brownstown, IN and a 1998 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis. I worked at various new car dealerships as a technician, service advisor and service manager before hiring on to Cummins Engine Company in 2005. I am currently a mechanical engineering apprentice with Cummins. I was married to Angie (Guthrie) on October 10th, 1998 and the Lord blessed us with a son, Brendan Scott Patman on March 27th, 2000. We moved to Florida in August of 2002 and lived down there until October 2004. Looking back on it I can plainly see that God led us down there so that we could let go of all of the things we were into up here and seek him. Angie and I were both saved in the fall of 2003 and both immediately became active in our church. When we moved back up here we bought an older house in Vallonia , IN and started remodeling it. We gutted most of the inside of it and completely redid it. It took a full year to get that done, but we were relieved when it was finally over. We found a church home at Faith Southern Baptist which is about a 15 minute drive from the house (I can make it in under 10 when late for Sunday school.) New years day of 2007 I was asked to serve as a deacon in the church and accepted and then I also became Sunday school superintendent in September of 2007. I also coach my son's little league team and his basketball team. We have a lot of fun with the sports. Even though I havc never been much on basketball (probably something to do with my build!!!) I still enjoy watching the little guys play basketball the most, it's not nearly as serious and cut-throat as the baseball is. Brendan had his first year of flag football at the Seymour Boys and Girls club in 2007 , that was a lot of fun too.. I spent nearly my whole childhood at race tracks and loved every minute of it. I can only remember 1 or 2 vacations that we ever took that didn't involve racing and they weren't nearly as fun as racing trips. My dad raced for around 20 years in street stocks and modifieds with quite a bit of success. |
