Grafting to me is quite foreign but soon I am going to do one successfully. Here are pictures of Will Staver doing a V-Cut graft and me trying a Bud Graft
Bud Grafting I thought would be fun. I had a cutting that appeared to be rooting but when I removed the wax from the top, the whole interior appeared to be rotted much to the shock of the buds that were growing out the top of it

<---First pick a really good root stock. The diameter of the stock should be the same as what you are trying to graft ---> Cut a V in the top of the stock with a sharp and very sterile tool
<---Sorry Blurry but Will does this very fast!! ---> Wrap with sterile tape and rubberbands or plastic that stretches very tight and creates a water tight seal
<---This tool worked great...it is actually an Apple corer made by Pampered Chef and is the perfect diameter ---> Here it is removed from cutting
<---Then I wrapped it in green stretchy tape and will be covering it with saran wrap to seal it. The root stock was very healthy and when I removed the bud, there was caudex so maybe it will take ??!!
