Germination Pool by ChrisMac
1.First cut a hole in a packing peanut big enough to stick a seed in but not too big to allow it to fall thru it. Any peanut will do as long as it is not dissolvible.
2. Only keep a small part of the seed showing thru the bottom.  I don't like too much seed sitting in water. This helps to reduce my seed rot percentage.
4.  Here are a couple shots of different seed pools done on May 17, 2008.This is just warm water and 1 drop of Superthrive
DAY 1
DAY 3
Bali Hai Gold is the first one germinating
DAY 4
Bali Hai Gold more germinated
This is a Kauai Orange germinated after 5 days in water and 2 days in perlite. Notice the secondary soil root system
DAY 8
At this point I will place the seeds in a shallow pot with 1/2 perlite and 1/2 cactus soil.  Water them in and leave them alone
3.  This is my first pool ever I started Sept 2007
