It all started with a stand and a chair. Amber worked as the assistant to the professor of instrumental music while at college, and it was her job to set up for rehearsal. When a new member joined the group on a fall day in 1998, Amber got a stand and a chair for him. That new member was Jason, and the fact that both Jason and Amber played the saxophone cemented teh foundation for a relationship. Amber later learned taht ever since Jason started college that August, he had been praying that he would find a woman that shared his beliefs and out of friendship, a relationship might grow. Jason and Amber have been growing in friendship and love ever since.
On December 16, 1998, Jason came to Amber's dorm room with a bouquet of sugar flowers and asked her to be his girlfriend. On December 11, 1999, Jason presented Amber with a promise ring symbolizing just how much she meant to him and that he would continue to love her. |
