MWF TV Title Triple Threat Match

Referee: Grant August

JP: Here we go, folks. The triple threat match for the MWF TV Title. Wildfire and Rick Jones already did battle earlier this week, and it was Kaos who got involved in the post-match gathering.

Sully: Wildfire picked up the victory on Dynamite but I have a feeling things are going to be much different tonight. For a start, he has two opponents, not one.

JP: I still see Wildfire as the favourite to win. His success has been vaunted across the company.

["Wherever I May Roam" by AC/DC hits the PA system and Rick Jones steps through the curtain followed by his wife, Amanda. Jones takes a break to check out the crowd whilst Amanda taunts. Jeers travel across the arena to meet the duo, who shrug it off and continue down the ramp.]

Peter Santos: This match is a Triple Threat match for the MWF Television Title and is scheduled for one fallWeighing in at 220 pounds, from Montreal, Quebec in Canadaone half of the MWF Tag Team ChampionsRick "Acid" Jones!

JP: It would seem Rick has left his tag title backstage tonight.

Sully: Obviously he wants to concentrate on his singles career tonight.

[Jones is followed by Amanda into the ring. They slide under the ropes and meet in the centre. They exchange in conversation as "When We Ride On Our Enemies" by Tupac Shakur echoes soundly across the arena. Kaos barges through the curtain and looks ready to explode as he strides to the ring.]

Peter Santos: From Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 300 pounds"The Killing Machine"Kaos!

[Kaos leaps onto the ring apron and stands in Rick Jones' line of sight. They lock eyes as Amanda steps from the ring. Wildfire's music &endash; "The Beautiful People" - hits and the crowd stand to welcome the champion. He strides out valiantly and holds the title up for all to see. As the crowd cheer he walks down the ramp ever so slowly.]

Peter Santos: Weighing in at 210 poundsMWF's TV ChampionWildfire!

[Kaos is now on the outside, locking eyes with Amanda, as Wildfire meets the ring.]

JP: All our wrestlers are here now, Sully. Kaos is concentrating on Amanda however. Perhaps the intimidation is to keep Amanda from interfering.

Sully: I wouldn't mind if she interfered with my affairs!

[Wildfire climbs the steps and stands on the apron. The bell sounds as he throws his title over the ring and steps through the ropes. Jones meets Wildfire with a swinging clothesline but the champion dodges and hits a flurry of strong fists to the jaw. Jones recoils back with each shot but soon enough hits a knee to the abdomen. Wildfire doubles over and is pressed against the ropes as "Acid" goes for the whip. Wildfire reverses and sends Jones at the ropesas he hits Kaos on the outside grabs his foot and trips him to the mat. Jones hits the mat hard and Kaos drags him from the ring. "The Killing Machine" hits several soft but fast punches to the face and then slams Jones down on the commentary table.]

Sully: Wo! Wo! Calm down fellas!

[He lifts Jones from the table and attempts to send him into the ring steps. Wildfire has left the ring and throws a clothesline at Jones as he is whipped. Jones ducks and Wildfire takes down Kaos. Kaos tries to get to his feet but Wildfire keeps him down with several stomps to the chest. He turns his attention to Rick Jones who throws a forearm. It connects but Wildfire shakes it off and slams Jones back down on the commentary table. "Acid" stands dazed and Wildfire hits a standing hurracanrana. Jones rolls to straight back to his feet and staggers round the ring. Meanwhile, Kaos has re-entered the ring, as Wildfire rolls Jones in as well. Wildfire chooses to attend to Kaos. The two meet with fast right hands. Wildfire hits a stiff forearm and Kaos turns away to recuperate. Jones is there, however, to meet with him another fist. As Jones backs away Wildfire clubs him over the head and knocks him down. "Acid" moves to Wildfire and extends his hand.]

JP: Looks as if Jones wants to work together, Sully!

Sully: Great thinking by the Tag Champ.

[Wildfire extends his handinto Jones' jaw! "Acid" stumbles backwards as Wildfire throws fists and kicks in all directions. Once Jones is against the ropes Wildfire throws him across the ring. He hits the ropes and comes back with a clothesline but Wildfire blocks and throws him against the ropes again. Kaos &endash; by the ropes &endash; is just finding his feet when he is hit in the shoulder by a reeling Rick Jones. "The Killing Machine" is sent from the ring and hits the floor outside. Back in the ring, Jones turns to Wildfire, locks his head and hits an inverted DDT. Wildfire's head hits the mat but Rick is quick to pick the champion up. He throws him into the ropes but Wildfire reverses and sends "Acid" over the ropes to the outside. Wildfire follows his opponents to the outside and assesses the situation.]

JP: Wildfire has two downed opponents. Which will he choose to beat on?

[Wildfire moves at Jones once more and sends him into the crowd barrier. He hits a kick to the gut and then moves to Kaos who is supporting himself with the ropes. Kaos kicks Wildfire in the groin and goes for a spinning neckbreaker but Wildfire forces him away and pushes him into the ringsteps. Wildfire turns back to Jones slams his head into the crowd barrier. Huge cheers come from the front row fans. Jones drops to the floor and Kaos is back up fast. He moves in on Wildfire on the entrance ramp and throws a combination of lefts and rights. He takes Wildfire's arm and whips him at the ring. Wildfire hits the apron hard. Kaos attempts to follow up with another move but Wildfire hits a spinning kick, knocking "The Killing Machine" down. "Acid" Jones crawls in Wildfire's direction. As Wildfire approaches Jones leaps up and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Wildfire rolls across the outside and stands holding his back. Jones continues the assault and hits a elbow to the back of the head. Wildfire staggers away and Jones follows up with a leg sweep.]

Sully: Hang on a secondwhat's Amanda up to?

[Referee Grant August leans from the ring and yells at Wildfire and Jones to get back in the squared circle. Amanda, meanwhile, sneaks up on the downed Kaos and kicks him hard in the groin!]

JP: Ooooo!

[Grant August notices the commotion and moves towards Amanda and Kaos. Kaos is now standing, holding his nether region. Meanwhile, Wildfire and Rick Jones grapple by the commentary table again. Jones uses a television cable to throttle Wildfire. Wildfire attempts to get back in the ring but Jones pulls a steel chair from under the ring and slams it into Wildfire's side. The champion falls back from the ring in pain. Grant August enters the ring as Rick Jones does. He looks over at the fallen Wildfire but can only assume the chair was used. Jones gets in his face and the old referee cowers into the corner. "Acid" turns to see Kaos in his face. "The Killing Machine" punches Jones in the cheekbone and whips him across the ring. Jones comes back with a dropkick sending Kaos straight to the mat. Kaos rolls onto his front and stands only to have Jones throws a collection of jabs. Kaos blocks each jab and scoops "Acid" up. The crowd jeer heavily as he runs across the ring and hits a huge powerslam.]

Sully: Big move!

JP: Yeah, I think Rick is paying for Amanda's "groping."

[Kaos makes the cover. 12kick out! Kaos stands and falls back against the ropes. Amanda, outside the ring, grabs his legs and pulls them hard, knocking Kaos down to the mat. The infuriated wrestler exits the ring as does Grant August. The referee orders Amanda to leave ringside.]

Grant August: Get outta here damnit! That's enough! Get to the locker rooms!

[Amanda is urged backstage by the ref, Kaos and the hissing crowd. She curses as she runs up the ramp and through the curtain. Rick Jones slides from the ring and pushes the referee in disgust. Wildfire is gaining strength over by the commentary table. He stands, and makes his way round to the commotion. Kaos turns and is met with a spinning DDT. Jones turns to see Wildfire walking in his direction. Wildfire suddenly charges and sends "Acid" into the barrier. Both men fall to the floor as Kaos makes his way to the ring. He rolls onto the apron and lays prone. Rick Jones and Wildfire stand. They wrestle their way to the ring and both enter. Wildfire goes for a spinning kick but Jones blocks the leg and sweeps his opponent down. Whilst gripping the leg tightly he works away the calf muscle, twisting, kicking, stretching all he can. Kaos eventually stands and moves in on the situation. Wildfire is crawling to the corner whilst Rick Jones stomps him in the leg. Kaos joins in and stomps Wildfire in the spine. The crowd boo and jeer tremendously as the champ takes a beating.]

JP: Come on! This is supposed to be one-on-one-on-one!

Sully: Kaos and Jones are working how they see fit. Now that Amanda has gone Jones is using Kaos to anchor the match in his direction.

[Wildfire fights his way up but Jones knocks him straight down with a arm bar. He holds the arm and begins to work away at the tricep when Kaos delivers a knee to the face and then covers. 12..Jones shoves Kaos from Wildfire and both men stand. Wildfire roles from the turmoil as Rick Jones and Kaos push each other. Kaos throws a punch but Jones blocks and fists away at Kaos' jaw. Kaos fights back and throws Jones into the ropes. As Jones hits Kaos follows up with a clothesline that sends "Acid" to the outside. "The Killing Machine" exits via the ropes and stands on the apron. Jones lies flat outside the ring, and Kaos goes for a leg drop, but Jones moves! Kaos lands flat on his backside and the crowd respond with an "OOOOO!" Jones stands and lifts a hurting Kaos with him. He steps onto the crowd barrier and hooks Kaos' head. With a swift spin he hits the Brain Teaser!]

Sully: What a move by Jones! The Brain Teaser never fails to impress!

[Jones quickly re-enters the ring and stands over Wildfire. Wildfire slowly stirs but suddenly kicks out in a moment of fury and knocks Jones to the mat. Wildfire quickly finds his feet as does a panicking Rick Jones. They lock together and Jones swings behind Wildfire to hit a German suplex onceand then again! Kaos, on the outside, pulls himself up and gets in the ring. Jones grabs "The Killing Machine from behind to hit a German suplex, but Kaos hits The Big Bang! Jones hits the mat face first, also taking out Kaos in the process with an inverted DDT.]

JP: All three men are out! Who will get the pin!?

[Rick Jones has fallen so that is arm is draped across Kaos...the crowd scream with horror as Grant August makes the count...1...2!]

Sully: Oh god!

JP: Yes! Yes! Yes!

Sully: How in God's name did Kaos get the shoulder up, August count faster you fool!

[Both Rick Jones and Kaos are laid out on the mat, both men unable to stand, eghausted from giving their all in the match....the defending champion, Wildfire is pulling himself up using the ropes....Wildfire sees that both men are down and he raises his arm to the crowd who respond with a cheer. Wildfire climbs the turnbuckle...]

JP: He's going up....Wildfire is going up!

Sully: This could be ending right here JP, I don't like this, why is Wildfire going to win again...can no one stop this man?

[Wildfire balances himself on the top rope, and wasting no time he leaps off...the crowd explode as he executes The Crisis, and it connects with the body of both Rick Jones and Kaos...their bodies ripple with the impact and Wildfire lays himself over both of them as Grant August slaps the canvas...1...2...3!]

Peter Santos: And your winner, and still MWF TV Champion, Wildfire!

JP: He's still the MWF TV Champion, it's going to be a three month title reign for Wildfire...

Sully: That is one hell of a title reign...but I thought it was going to end right here.

JP: Me to, I can't believe he's managed to hold onto that belt for so long, and you can't say he hasn't defended it enough...

Sully: Sam King was unlucky not to win it, and both Kaos and Rick Jones were unlucky here as well.

[Wildfire takes the MWF TV Title from Peter Santos and runs to the turnbuckle and raises the belt to the fans who respond with a good response of cheers...Wildfire turns backs round and Amanda has run down the entrance ramp, she slides into the ring and tends to her husband. Wildfire walks over to where Kaos has been grounded, Wildfire looks down pitifully on him.]

JP: What's he going to do?

Sully: I think, Wildfire, is going to do what Kaos did to him on Dynamite!

JP: Humiliate him?

[Wildfire drops his MWF TV Title and grabs Kaos by the head and yanks him to his feet, the crowd cheer as Wildfire lets Kaos stand, groggily on his feet...Wildfire kicks Kaos, doubling him up and then hits a huge dangerous DDT, sending Kaos' head slamming into the canvas. Wildfire leaps up and raises his arm to the crowd and shouts something.]

Sully: Oh God! I think Kaos might have just been put out for another few months right there...

JP: Wildfire makes a habit of physically destroying people!

Sully: Always a good habit to have when you're a wrestler...especially a champion in a place like the MWF.

JP: It's been one hell of a show, and it could get even better next...

Sully: The Main Event, it's the day of reckoning for both Sam King and Anarkist.

JP: I think it is clear that both men are so pumped up about this match, it's incredible, I can't wait to just see the two men finally get in the ring.

Sully: It'll be a spectacle JP..

[Suddenly both JP and Sully are cut off. The well lit arena finds itself plunged into darkness whilst the fans murmur to themselves at this twist in events. A solitary bright light emerges from the entranceway and synthetic smoke billows out from around the top of the ramp. A man seemingly materializes in amongst the dazing smog, however the fans can only make out a shady silhouette. In the background, almost in a whisper, the Canadian national anthem begins to play. The mysterious figure holds a microphone to his mouth as he prepares to talk.]

Sully: Is this a member of the Canadian Connection?

JP: I'm not sure, I don't see why either one of them would hide themselves and come out on their own though.

Canadian Mystery Man: Now right off the bat let me say I'm a veteran of the business and I can read you fans like a book. Besides wondering if you should take a bath or leave it another month, you're also wondering who the man with the incredibly sexy voice is. Well I'm under strict company orders to keep that a secret right now but I'm here for only two reasons. One, to prove to everyone why I'm called "The Perfect One" and two, to spread some Canadian pride throughout this federation. The Canadian Connection have done a fine job flying the flag but I'm here to outdo them. As I've won many world titles during my illustrious career, I'm more than sure that I can capture the MWF World championship so I can take it back to Toronto and I'm always right I'm...

[The microphone goes dead as the silhouette drops it unceremoniously to the ground. As the camera zooms into the dark figure he raises he arms and makes a "J" with the fingers on his left hand and a "W" with the fingers on his right. Methodically he steps back into the shrouded mist and the lights illuminate the Iowa arena once more. Many of the crowd seem unsure of what to make of the man but those who know their opinions make it heard with heartfelt jeering.]

Sully: I wonder who that could be?

JP: Are you an idiot? Is he an idiot?

Sully: What do you mean?

JP: Well if that was his way of being cunning about his identity then he needs to take some lessons at Subtlety University! I have to apologise to the folks at home because I value my job here and if I were to divulge this man's "secret identity" then I may lose my career. So lets just move on.

Sully: We could watch that incredible promo video for MAYhem again, I just love that video.

JP: U2 are one of my favourite bands, they might be old but this song fits so well with MAYhem...

Sully: What's it called?

JP: It's called "Gone"...

JP: Wow, I just love that more and more each time I see it...

Sully: Great song as well...

JP: Yeah, sure is, I believe it's almost time for Sam King and Anarkist, this match will last throughout the ages Sully....

Sully: I hope it does, I'm in the mood for a fight.

JP: And it's some fighting talk from Sam King these last few days, he's with Ian Gonzales...

[The camera cuts backstage and we stand with Ian Gonzales, "The King" Sam King stands just next to the microphone and isn't looking too bothered about the interview.]

Gonzales: King, I spoke to Anarkist earlier...

King: Oh yeah, what did that piece of shit have to say.

Gonzales: Well, he was just discussing the match that is up next.

King: Up next, Gonzales, this next match is hardly going to be a match...I'm going to destroy Anarkist, this will be so one sided that the fans will be cheering for me again when they realise just how dominant I can be.

Gonzales: You seem awfully confident...and you look awfully confident.

King: Is that such a bad thing? A man without confidence is, well, The Jeopardizer! There is a perfect example of a man without confidence, by the way great win earlier Jay, against Drebbin...Drebbin's a damn mouse, I am suprised he pushed you so far, come on 'Shadow Boy' you need to pull your socks up.

Gonzales: Sam are you drunk?

King: No, just confident.

Gonzales: What is The Jeopardizer decides to get involved tonight?

King: He doesn't look in a fit state to get involved...but I tell you, if Jay even shows his face near the ring then I'll bust it right open! This interview is over, I've got a 'match' to win, we've done enough talking...it's time to start fighting!

[Sam King storms off, leaving Ian Gonzales looking rather angry, Gonzales shouts something after King but King is too far off to hear it, the camera cuts back to the ring.]
