"Man of Darkness" Fear

Singles Match

Referee: Charles Galliant

JP: I can't wait to see these two men go at it in the ring, they were legends in the UWF before it closed down...I mean Fear was a World Champion and a man feared around the wrestling world and now he's brought his unique style to the MWF.

Sully: He truly is a good wrestler, it's not often I will respect a wrestler for what they've done in the past but Fear does have that something special about him. You can't fault him, he works hard and wrestles hard.

JP: The Ginga is stepping up the pace now, he wants to make an impression in the MWF and he aims to beat Fear tonight to show us exactly why he wants to be considered the next big thing to happen in the MWF.

Sully: He'll have to defeat better wrestlers than that Diamond guy he beat last week...

JP: I thought Diamond was very impressive earlier, he put up a good match against Shane Impact and got that all important victory.

[The crowd give off a cheer as Peter Santos steps into the centre of the ring, he wipes the sweat from his brow before speaking.]

Peter Santos: This match is scheduled for one fall, making his way to the ring first, from Florida, weighing in at 252 lbs., The Ginga!

[No entrance music plays but orange lights fill the entrance way...through the organge glow comes The Ginag to a great crowd reception. He taunts the fans and offers high fives to the fans as he walks down the entrance ramp.]

Sully: He just doesn't have that special something, Fear is going to eat this guy alive in the ring...I wouldn't want to be The Ginga right now.

JP: I don't know, he's got five thousand people supporting him tonight.

Sully: You think Fear is going to be affected by fans? He's wrestled in front of crowds of ten times this number during his career and come out the winner so I don't see how a few thousand fans who don't understand his brilliance will change his performance/

JP: You'd be surprised, even the old timers can suffer a knock of confidence...look at Troy Knight, he's gone into a reclusive state until he sorts himself out/

Sully: Troy Knight is just an oddball, someone should give him a damn good kicking, that will get him back in the ring. He'd better do it soon to, or he'll miss his chance at Nightmare.

JP: That's right folks, Troy Knight will be part of what will be a historic four corners match at Nightmare for the MWF World Championship. Can Troy Knight become a double champion?

[The Ginga is in the ring, he paces around and pauses for a moment. He looks around the ring and then up at the crowd...he seems to almost be acknowledging how many people are in the arena...he gives Peter Santos a nod.]

Peter Santos: Introducing the challenger, from Bangor, Maine, weighing in at 250 lbs., "The Man of Darkness" Fear!

[The crowd give off quite a large amount of jeers as "Quarter" by Fuel hits the PA system and "The Man of Darkness" dressed in black wrestling trousers, black t-shirt and his black hair slicked back makes his way out onto the entrance way. He strides down the entrance way, his eyes mixed on The Ginga. The Ginga grabs a mike from Peter Santos as Fear strides down the entrance way.]

Ginga: Cut the music! Cut the music! [The music is brought to an abrupt halt.] Fear...you stay there for a moment. Tonight we meet in what I sure do hope will be a great match, great for the reason that I will come out the winner. I want to let you know something very important, you are nothing but a waste of space...a man who comes from the past and drags that past with him. You have NO FUTURE! Why don't you leave the MWF alone Fear? I'm not scared of you...I don't feel fear, all I see is a man trying to recreate the past and inflict that on us.

[Fear is on the ring apron, he pauses for a moment before stepping into the ring...he begins to walk slowly towards The Ginga. The Ginga continues.]

Ginga: I can't fear you....it's impossible, I know what you are capable of but I also know that whatever it is you want to throw at me I can deal with....

[Fear is standing right in front of The Ginga, Charles Galliant worriedly attempts to step in but both men wave him away. Fear looks The Ginga in the eye, Ginga doesn't move his eyes but looks straight into the dark eyes of Fear. "The Man of Darkness" moves closer and speaks into the mike, very deeply and slowly.]

Fear: You will learn....you will learn to FEAR ME!

[There is a loud screech as the mike is thrown to one side and The Ginga launches himself at Fear..."The Man of Darkness" comes flying forward as well and the two men's punches connect at the same time and they are brawling wildly...The Ginga uses his slight weight advantage to force Fear backwards. Fear ducks a punch and a sharp kick to the leg drops The Ginga to one knee...Fear rams his knee into the face of The Ginga, guiding it with his hand, he slams the knee into the face of The Ginga again and the crowd jeer as Fear rakes the eyes, causing The Ginga to fall back clutching his face. Charles Galliant gives Fear a talking to as The Ginga scrambles to a standing position.]

JP: Fear knows exactly what he wants to do in this match, he wants to try and out wrestle The Ginga but he also wants to try and strike such fear into the heart of The Ginga that he will never wrestle again.

Sully: Fear is capable of that, he's a psycological wrestler...he knows what to do and has fantastic ring awareness.

JP: The Ginga needs to keep the match tempo up, The Ginga is a superb athlete and give him half a chance tonight and he'll take the win from the jaws of defeat.

Sully: You don't want to snatch a win from Fear because he'll make sure you pay in other ways.

[The two men stand opposite each other once again, Fear walks slightly towards The Ginga and the two men lock up for a test of strength....both men push hard and the crowd roar on The Ginga as he leans into Fear but the "Man of Darkness" brings his knee up into the mid-section of The Ginga. Fear grabs The Ginga round the neck and puts him in a headlock, The Ginga attempts to reverse the move and the crowd roar as The Ginga leans back and Fear is sent flying back for a backdrop. The Ginga rolls over quickly and covers....1.....2! Fear breaks out of the cover with plenty to spare.]

JP: The Ginga looking for an early cover, he wants to get this match over and done with because he knows Fear is a dangerous opponenet.

Sully: Damn right, Fear is going to eat The Ginga alive tonight if he gets half a chance...I'm looking for a stunning performance from Fear...the sort of match that makes people sit up and take notice.

[Fear shakes his head and clambers to his feet, only to be met by the hands of The Ginga. Fear is sent into the ropes...he grabs a rope to stop himself coming back and ducks as The Ginga comes running at him...The Ginga screams as Fear sends The Ginga up and over the top. The Ginga lands on the outside with a large thud, the crowd hurl abuse at Fear as he steps out of the ring. Charles Galliant begins the count....1.......]

JP: This is bad for The Ginga, he does not want to be outside of the ring with Fear.

Sully: He sure doesn't, Fear is a sick head outside of the ring...he'll use anything he can to beat The Ginga to nothing more than a pulp.

JP: It's a worrying situation, but if it reaches the ten count it will be trouble.

[Fear grabs the steel ring steps and the crowd gasp as he slams them into The Ginga's face......2......Fear spits into the crowd as he pulls the ring steps off the head of The Ginga, which has a large amount of bruising where the steps hit. The Ginga attempts to sit up, he is made to stand up by Fear and the crowd roar as The Ginga pushes Fear back towards the guardrail........3.......Fear counters though and gets The Ginga into a headlock. The Ginga looks for the backdrop again but the crowd jeer loudly as the "Man of Darkness" hits a huge DDT onto the concrete........4........The Ginga is laid flat out as Fear pulls away the guardrail. Security force the crowd back as Fear pushes them out of the way, he moves some chairs back to create a space.......5..........Fear walks back towards the ring, he scrabbles under the ring for something, he pulls out a dustbin lid but throws it away, Charles Galliant looks very worried and he slides from the ring.]

Sully: Fear is going on a trip here, he wants to try and mutilate The Ginga right here on Dynamite, he wants to get hardcore.

JP: It's not the time or place, The Ginga is in real trouble but he's warned that no one should interfere in the match, he wants to try and take out Fear for himself.

Sully: He's a fool, no man can take the Fear.

[The count is stopped as Charles Galliant grabs Fear....the "Man of Darkness" reacts violently, lashing out at Charles Galliant and Galliant holds his face as Fear picks up the dustbin lid. Galliant pulls is hands away from his face and the crowd explode in fury as Fear smacks the dustbin lid into the face of Charles Galliant. Peter Santos at ringside calls for the bell to be rung, from the back Chris Forrest, Grant August and a host of security men come running.]

JP: Fear's really in trouble now, you can't assault a referee during a match and hope to get away with it.

Sully: It's going to take a lot of restraining.

JP: Peter Santos has made a good decision there, you can't risk having Fear in a match like this without a referee.

[The Ginga is back on his feet and he doesn't realise the match is ended...Peter Santos is climbing into the ring with a mike to announce the decision as Fear turns round and is grabbed by a security man. The Ginga looks confused as Fear is swamped by four security men....the second man grabs Fear's right arm but is sent flying as Fear extends his arm. A third man grabs Fear's legs but Fear attempts a jump and crushes the mans fingers...Grant August and a fourth security man grab Fear around the neck while Chris Forrest grabs a steel chair. The crowd explode with cheers as Chris Forrest takes the hardline approach and decks Fear with a steel chair.]

Peter Santos: And your winner, through disqualification, The Ginga!

Sully: What a cheap win! I thought Fear was going to break through that security team but Chris Forrest took the more hardcore line to restraining.

JP: That chair shot must of hurt...Charles Galliant appears to be okay, he's the most experienced referee in the MWF, you do not mess with him.

[Charles Galliant is helped to his feet, The Ginga is back in the ring celebrating while the security team drag Fear up the entrance ramp...the "Man of Darkness" is feeling the effects of the chairshot as his legs are buckling underneath him.]

Sully: The man's insane, but great...how can Kid Insanity call himself insane when we have guys like Fear running around the MWF.

JP: He's Kid Insanity, he's different, Fear needs some sort of restraint because he really took Charles Galliant's authority there and had no regard for it at all! You can't be a part of the MWF and get away with action like that.

Sully: We'll soon see what the management make of Fear's actions, for the time being The Ginga has got the win but I bet if these two fought it out in a no qualification match it would be a win to Fear and Charles Galliant would be powerless.

JP: Galliant is the most experienced and professional referee, he always has power.

Sully: There will be an even more powerful referee in the next match...the MWF President!

JP: That's going to be mental, I mean Walker knows how to handle himself in the ring and if Stoate even tries anymore of his tricks he will face the wrath of the MWF President.

Sully: If anyone attempts anything they'll be beaten...or disqualified. Walker won't give an inch.
