"Kronik" Sozzey and Mak
versus
MWF Television Champion: "Troy Boy" Troy Knight and "Mr Clean
Cut" Craig Clayborn w/Bobby Knight
Tag Team Match
Referee: Chad Pattison
[The crowd boo and jeer as Kronik make their way to the ring to
the sound of Linkin Park's 'Numb'. Mak and Sozzey confer to each
other in one corner of the ring as Troy Knight's music hits. As The
Backstreet Boys' 'Larger Than Life' blares through the PA, The fans
go wild as Troy runs down to the ring, forsaking his pre-match
prancing and dancing in memory of the attack on him by Kronik.]
J.P: This young man is so angry at what those despicable thugs did
to him last week on Dynamite, he doesn't even care that his partner
hasn't turned up!
Sully: He's attacking them on his own! What an idiot!
[Troy slides into the ring, and before he can get up to face
Kronik, Mak bashes him over the back of the head, knocking him to the
mat. Sozzey picks him up and scoop slams him, and both members of
Kronik begin to stomp all over Troy Boy. As this is happening, Craig
Clayborn runs down to the ring to the wild cheers of the fans. He
slides into the ring and runs past the two large men, bouncing off
the other ropes, and jumps, taking them both down with a Double Cross
Body. They roll out of the ring to regroup by the ramp, while Troy
gets to his feet to the cheers of the fans, and he and Clayborn shake
hands. Hands still locked, Troy whips Craig against the ropes, and
Craig turns and whips Troy, who runs and launches himself over the
ropes at Kronik, landing directly on top of them and toppling them.
He grabs Sozzey's head and punches him, then Mak, and Craig climbs
out of the ring and pulls Mak to his feet. Troy pulls Sozzey up as
well, and they roll the two larger men into the ring.]
J.P: Y'know Sully, if Knight and Clayborn carry on like this, they
might have a chance of winning!
Sully: No way, J.P! They can't beat Kronik!
[Craig goes for an early pin on Mak, and gets a two as order is
restored to the ring, Sozzey and Troy Knight sent to their respective
corners. Mak kicks out of the pin, and Craig backs up, coming off the
ropes and landing a running elbow drop. He does it again, then kicks
Mak in the head. Mak's head bounces off the mat, and he rolls away,
holding out his arms for mercy. As Craig advances, Sozzey rushes into
the ring and slams into Craig's back, flattening him. Craig falls,
and Mak catches him, throwing him into the corner and beginning to
pummel him. He lands a seventh punch to the body of Craig Clayborn,
and grabs him by the throat, lifting him and throwing him into the
middle of the ring. Clayborn crawls onto his hands and knees, and Mak
runs and kicks him in the side. Craig goes rolling, and Mak makes the
tag to Sozzey, who grabs Clayborn by the leg and puts him in the
reverse Figure 4 Leg Lock. Craig cries out in pain, and reaches for
the ropes, but he cannot pull the larger man anywhere. Mak runs
across the ring and hits a cheap shot to Troy Knight, who of course
tries to get into the ring, which distracts the referee. As the ref
is distracted, Mak grabs Sozzey's arms and leans back, increasing the
pressure on Craig's bent left leg. The ref turns around and Mak lets
go, putting on an innocent face. The ref points at him with an
obvious warning, and turns back to the fighting. Craig has somehow
managed to reach the ropes and is clinging to the bottom one for dear
life, eyes screwed up tight, mouth open in a scream of pain. Sozzey
lets go and picks up Craig. He punches him in the face, once, twice,
sending him flying into the Kronik corner. He then tags in Mak, and
lifts Clayborn high into the air. Mak grabs Clayborn's shoulders, and
brings him down onto the mat hard. As Sozzey gets out, Mak once again
picks up Craig, and head butts him.]
J.P: Craig Clayborn is taking one helluva beating in there!
Sully: This is what happens when you mess with Kronik, J.P!
J.P: If only Troy Knight could tag in!
[Craig is groggily crawling towards Troy, who is desperately
sticking out his hand for a tag. Mak lets Craig get less than a foot
from Knight's hand, then stomps on his back, making him collapse onto
his stomach. Mak laughs out loud, and pulls Clayborn to his feet once
again. He delivers a huge punch and holds Craig on his feet, then
whips him against the ropes, landing a huge Big Boot.]
J.P: My God! The impact of that big boot against the skull of
Craig! He may be out cold!
Sully: That's the way!
[Mak moves over for the cover. 12He kicks out! Craig Clayborn
getting the shoulder up before rolling onto his side, looking most in
pain as his hands, quivering, move up to his face. Mak would sit up,
pausing for a little bit before standing up completely and reaching
down to grab Craig by the hair, hauling him up into a standing
position. Mak would hook him for sort of a scoop slam move, but would
stop half way, dropping him down onto his back. Craig would cry out,
holding his back and moving towards his corner wearily, the fans
chanting his name.]
Sully: Craig Clayborn is in a really bad way at the moment, JP!
Kronik have him just where they want 'im!
[Mak would walk after him casually, grabbing onto his leg in an
attempt to drag him back towards the centre of the ring. The tables,
however, would be turned as Clayborn pulls away, slapping Troy's hand
for the tag. Unfortunately, the tag would not be seen, as the referee
would have been distracted by Sozzey who had made an attempt to enter
the ring. As the referee sees Troy trying to storm into the ring, he
would dart towards him, pushing him back and ushering him towards the
outside of the ring, the fans booing at the decision of the referee.
Mak and Sozzey would drag Craig back by the legs towards the middle
of the ring before stamping on the back of Troy's partner.]
Sully: Look at that awareness of Kronik! Wasn't that great tag
team work, JP?
JP: It was crafty, I'll give them that!
[The referee would turn, ushering Sozzey out of the ring now as
Mak continues to go to work on Craig. Every time that Craig attempts
to stand, Mak thumps a forearm against his back, knocking him down
every time. Craig would continue to struggle towards his corner but,
as before, Mak would grab onto his leg. And, same as before, the
tables are turned. Craig would whip around, landing a powerful kick
to the skull of Mak, sending him stumbling backwards. Craig would
whip forwards, slapping a tag with Troy. The referee sees this time,
despite Sozzey's efforts to get his attention.]
JP: Here we go!
[Troy would hop over the top rope, thundering forwards and
tackling Mak down to the ground, delivering punch after punch. He'd
move onto his feet, ducking under an approaching fist from Sozzey,
before turning and spinning heel-kicking him over the top rope. He'd
turn around to nail Mak with a back elbow, knocking him into the
ropes. He'd dart up the turnbuckle, climbing up it with speed, facing
away from his opponent and leaping backwards off it, delivering a
huge moonsault that fells them both. Troy would stand, holding his
ribs and yelling down at the fallen Mak, not seeing Sozzey approach
from behind. Craig, however, does. He'd be on the turnbuckle, the
fans chanting his name.]
JP: What's he doing on the turnbuckle!?
Sully: Get him off!
[He'd stammer to keep his balance before lifting off, diving and
landing a near perfect cross body to Sozzey, the fans going crazy as
he rolls out of the ring, leaving Sozzey laying there.]
JP: He just flew! The World's Greatest Athlete just flew and took
out Sozzey!
Sully: How did he DO that?!
[Troy would look down to him thankfully, taking his attention off
the legal man, Mak, who approaches from behind, landing a heavy low
blow to the TV Champion, the referee distracted by Sozzey. The fans
boo.]
JP: Did you see that?!
Sully: I sure did! Great move!
[Troy would be grabbed by Troy and set up for his finisher 'Test
Drive'. It is landed and Troy hits the canvas hard, falling limp. Mak
goes for the cover, Sozzey moving under the bottom rope swiftly.
123!]
Peter Santos: And your winners, through pinfall, Sozzey and Mak!
[Troy would stir, holding his neck as Mak stands, arms raised as
the referee raises it. Their music would hit and Sozzey would join
him in the middle of the ring. The announcer would announce their
victory.]
JP: What a cheap win! What a damn cheap win!
Sully: How can you call that cheap? After all, it was against the
(sarcasm) 'Almighty Troy Knight', wasn't it? Kronik showed him who's
boss!
JP: I still don't know who these two are, Sully. Why're they pi-
Oh good God.
[Mak and Sozzey are beginning to lay into Troy again, stamping
away at his body after the match, the ring rocking with the thudding
impact. The fans begin to cheer as 'WGA' slides under the bottom rope
, lunging for Mak and landing a huge clothesline to him. He'd then
turn to Sozzey who scoots under the bottom rope. Mak rolls under the
bottom rope and Kronik start to back up the ramp, Mak holding his
jaw, Sozzey looking a little happier than Mak, pointing down to the
ring, as Craig Clayborn leans over the rope, pointing towards them as
the camera fades out, Craig's music playing now.]
