[The camera cuts in to show the General Manager walking down the
ramp, his music booming on in the background as he receives a
generous applaud from the audience.]
Sully: Where's HE been, anyway?
JP: Well, maybe that's what he's coming down
here to explain.
Sully: He had BETTER have a good explanation
as to why he has been gone, JP. You can't have a decent federation
without an active General Manager, and I think that General Manager
D.Stoate has been neglecting his duties lately.
JP: I wouldn't go that far. Sure, he's been
a bit absent, but he has business to attend to. He has got to break
himself into the federation!
Sully: Exactly! He has business to attend
to- the business of the MWF!
JP: And how's he supposed to do things
properly with thatthat jackass Sean Harely making life a living hell
for him. Speaking of Harely, he can't be happy about losing his title
last week!
Sully: You're damn right he's not happy. And
I wouldn't be if I was cheated out of the title like that!
JP: Cheated out of it?
Sully: You heard me!
[The GM would step under the second rope, microphone in hand as he
nears the middle of the ring, head raised a little bit as he allows
the music to fade out. Some chants start to rally up in his favour
and he allows a little smile to his lips before raising the
microphone to them and speaking loudly and clearly and in a manner
befitting someone with authority and power. Addressing his
supporters.]
GM Stoate: Now I'm sure that it's something
of a rarity. I'm sure that me coming down to the ring and addressing
you, the fans of the MWF, has become something that you don't really
expect. I know. I know that I haven't been around enough perhaps. I
haven't been here to talk you over things enough, and I am here to
tell you why. The reason tha-
[He is cut off by Sean Harely's music that slices into his
talking, interrupting everything. The music is greeted by a rapturous
amount of booing from the audience. Stoate would show a little bit of
annoyance, lowering his arm and sighing visibly, chest heaving down
as he peers towards the ramp, Harely stepping out onto the ramp, one
hand raised sweeping in front of him in a dismissing manner, the
other holding a microphone.]
SH: Woah, woah, woah. Hold on a second
there, "GM". You can't just come down here, say your sorry and expect
for these people to forgive you! You've betrayed them with your
absence. M-more than that, you have betrayed me! What about the
horrible injustice with the title match last week? What about that,
huh? When are you going to address that situation?
Sully: See? He has such a point, JP!
JP: He's just trying to hog the spotlight!
Sully: How can you say that, JP? You know as
much as anybody that he was screwed out of that title last
week!
JP: That's complete nonsense!
SH: Troy Knight. He won the title. He won MY
title with awith a god damn 'rump thump'! H-how can this be allowed,
Stoate? How can you allow him to win the title with a move that
involves sitting on somebody's face! How?
Sully: Exactly! It has no place in the MWF,
just like Troy Knight has no place as the TV Champion!
[The fans would continue to boo and jeer Sean Harely as Stoate
remains in the ring, head lowered a little as he bites his lip.]
SH: Next. Next, I want to talk about what
happened to Troy Knight after that match on Dynamite I want to
extend my complete sympathies towards the Tro-.. //He pauses before
shaking his head and continuing:// No I don't. I don't want to extend
my sympathies towards anybody. I want to know what that was about at
the end of the match? I mean, it wasn't as if me, Sean Harely(!)
couldn't have beaten Knight about myself, now is it? And what about
you laughing? Why were you laughing about it?
Sully: He &endash;was- laughing!
JP: Well, I have to admit that I wouldn't
mind knowing just what was so funny about Troy getting beaten up by
that hideous tag-team 'KRONIK'.
SH: Why were you laughing , -DOM-. Just what
was so funny about one of your employed wrestlers getting his ass
whooped?
[Stoate would look a wee bit uncomfortable as he raises the
microphone to his lips.]
GM DS: Well, Sean. You're right. I
&endash;was- laughing last week. But you have to understand that it
wasn't because of how Kronik came down and beat the hell out of Troy
for what seemed to be no reason at all.
SH: Why were you laughing then, Stoate?
Why?
GM DS: Alright. Alright, Sean. Let me
finish.
[Stoate would look a little uneasy as he paces about the ring a
little bit.]
GM DS: Well. I wasn't laughing &endash;at-
Troy Knight. I was laughing at
[He'd pause, the fans waiting to hear what he has to say. Before
he can continue much further, however, Sean Harely, now moving down
the ramp, interrupts]
SH: At me? Were you laughing at me, Stoate?
Were you laughing at how I lost my title, huh? Is that it? Well let
me tell you something. I'm not happy. I'm not happy at all at what
happened and I demand a rematch! I demand a rematch for that
Title!
[He'd lower the microphone as he stands just outside of the ring,
waiting expectantly for Stoate's reply, who leans over the ropes,
looking a little hesitant, rubbing at his brow.]
JP: He doesn't look too sure on things,
himself!
Sully: Something's going on.
JP: But what?
Sully: I'm not sure...but Stoate didn't give
an answer!
JP: I'd rather not talk about what's just
happened, for a start we have more important things to look forward
to, for a start it's Insane Wayne in action right here on
Dynamite.
Sully: He's going to beat the hell out of
The Ginga, what kind of a wrestler calls himself The Ginga?
JP: He's a great wrestler, a legend in the
UWF...
Sully: I don't know about a legend, I know
he won quite a few belts but it still doesn't warrant the legend
status.
JP: Insane Wayne he count as a
legend?
Sully: What a stupid question...of course he
does, Insane Wayne was the reason why the UWF survived for as long as
it did...and now he's bringing his talents into the MWF and his
influence is easy to see.
JP: He's created his own band of followers,
the rookie Iniquity has been taken by Insane Wayne and I have to
admit, made into a fearsome fighting machine.
Sully: Doomsday and Seth Caliko are also
part of what they've called "Twisted Vision".
JP: A fearsome force but they are not
unbeatable, they don't hold any major MWF singles belts...but they do
have the MWF Tag Team Championships.
Sully: Worth their weight in gold, Insane
Wayne and Iniquity are the two heavy hittes in "Twisted
Vision"...Wayne is very much the brains behind the operation,
Iniquity acting as the brawn.
JP: Iniquity's not in action tonight but for
such a young man he's done incredible well since joining the MWF,
although it may have been a different story if Wayne had not taken
him under his wing. Let's talk about The Ginga, he's come into the
MWF with his head held high and a confidence that I find
amazing.
Sully: He's foolish, why is he confident?
He's facing perhaps one of the most in-form wrestlers in the MWF
right now...I wouldn't be confident so why should he be?
JP: I always get the feeling with The Ginga
that he knows something we don't, perhaps there is a simple way to
beat Insane Wayne that The Ginga has managed to figure out after all
their battles against each other.
Sully: That's one thing we can't forget just
how many times these two men have fought and I believe Wayne has the
upper hand.
JP: Wayne has the upper hand over most of
the men he's fought in his career, mainly due to his sheer
size.
Sully: Expect this match to be The Ginga
doing a hit and run, he doesn't want to brawl with Insane Wayne
because he'll be cut to shreds by the fists of Insane Wayne.
JP: Kidd Kidman showed that Insane Wayne can
be beaten but it took him some time to wear down the formidable
Wayne, the problem with Wayne is that while brawling may be his main
strength he's not really weak anywhere.
Sully: It took Kidman quite a while to bring
the "Hardcore Living Legend" down...and even then it was quite a
lucky victory.
JP: Kidman used his speed, it showed exactly
why he was the MWF World Champion, his pace was eventually too much
for Wayne.
Sully: Wayne's got that technical side and
we saw that come out against Kidman, he had "The Ruthless Rookie" in
a bit of trouble.
JP: Not too much trouble and I don't think
it's out of the question that The Ginga can claim a debut win...if he
does win I think he will be shot right up into the higher reaches of
the MWF as Insane Wayne is one of the more senior members of the MWF
roster and a victory over Insane Wayne is big news for your
career.
