MWF Television Champion: "Troy Boy" Troy Knight w/Bobby
Knight
versus
The Ginga
MWF Television Championship Match
Referee: MWF World Champion: "The Player" Ace Spade
JP: Well, Sully, we are in for a heck of a
match here!
Sully: Yes we are, JP. While this is the
first time they have met in the ring, there is no love lost between
The Ginga and Troy Knight.
JP: And what about the referee tonight,
Sully? You can't tell me that Ace Spade is going to call it down the
middle. You want to talk about no love lost? There is definately no
love lost between Troy Knight and Ace Spade.
Sully: Ace Spade is the new MWF World
Champion, JP. Show the man a little respect. Of course he will call
it down the middle. How else would he call it?
JP: Well, we will find out here. Coming up,
The Ginga takes on Troy Knight for the Television Title!
Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen. The following contest is
scheduled for a one fall. First, on his way to the ring, the special
guest referee for tonight's contest, MWF World Champion, Ace
Spade!
[Ace Spade appears at the top of the ramp, and makes his way to
the ring. He is dressed in wrestling tights, but has a referee shirt
on.]
Peter Santos: Next, the challenger. From Florida, weighing in
at 252 lbs, The Ginga!
[The Ginga walks down the entrance ramp, to a chorus of cheers
from the fans. He smiles as he slides in the ring, and moves to one
of the corners. He begins doing some basic stretches.]
Peter Santos: And now, making his way to the ring, from
Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 220 lbs, the MWF Television
Champion, "Troy Boy" Troy Knight!
["Larger Than Life" by the Backstreet Boys blares, as the crowd
jumps to their feet. Troy Knight, holding the MWF Television title,
appears at the top of the ramp, the Bobster at his side. He leans
down, and after a few words, the Bobster turns, and leaves the
ringside area. Troy Knight walks down to the ring. He slides in, and
finds himself face to face with Ace Spade.]
JP: This is going to be one volatile
situation, Sully, that is bound to blow up any second! Certainly Troy
Knight doesn't want his son here for this.
Sully: What do you mean, JP? It's just a MWF
Television match!
[Ace Spade is demanding the MWF Television title from Troy Knight.
Reluctantly, Troy Knight gives up the title, and Ace Spade shows it
to the fans. Then, he walks over, and tells Troy Knight to lift up
his boots, so he can check them. He gives them a thorough checking,
and nods, then tells him to turn around. Troy Knight is not liking it
at all.]
JP: Calling it right down the middle, will
he?
Sully: What? He is making sure it will be a
clean match. What's wrong with that?
JP: The fact he isn't checking The Ginga's
boots for starters...
[Apparently satisfied, Ace Spade nods to the ringside, and the
bells sounds.]
JP: Finally, we are off!
[Troy Knight and The Ginga circle each other, and lock up. The
Ginga comes out on top with a headlock, and Troy Knight backs him
up into the ropes. Giving him a push, Troy Knights sends The Ginga
for a ride. The Ginga bounces off the opposite ropes, and comes
flying back. Troy Knight tries for a shoulder block, but is knocked
off his feet. The Ginga runs to the ropes, and bounces off, and Troy
Knight drops to the mat, as The Ginga hops over him, and Troy Knight
jumps to his feet, and meets The Ginga with a hip toss, taking him
off his feet. The Ginga jumps to his feet, rushes Troy Knight, and
Troy Knight executes another hip toss. The Ginga makes one more
charge, and is met with another hip toss, and The Ginga rolls out of
the ring.]
JP: Smart move by The Ginga, slowing up the
match. When the momentum is going against you, the best thing you can
do is slow it down.
Sully: Yea, The Ginga was getting tossed
around like a trout at a Seattle Fish Market. He needs to do
something to get back in the game.
[Ace Spade starts the count, but it is obviously a slow count.
Troy Knight gets in front of Ace Spade, and starts to yell. Ace Spade
stops the count, and warns Troy Knight about getting in his face. As
Troy Knight shakes his head, and backs up, Ace Spade starts the count
over again.]
JP: Not a smart move by Troy Knight. You
don't want to anger the referee.
Sully: Yea, he needs to keep his distance if
he wants to win this match.
[Troy Knight gets in the face of Ace Spade again, and The Ginga
sneaks in the ring, and rolls up Troy Knight from behind. Ace Spade
quickly drops to the mat, 1.2.kickout by Troy Knight.]
JP: Wow, did you see how fast Ace Spade
tried to count that?
Sully: Sounded like a normal count to
me.
[Troy Knight and The Ginga are back on their feet, and lockup.
Troy Knight comes out on top, and sends The Ginga for a ride. The
Ginga ducks a clothesline, and bounces back and returns with a
baseball kick to the shins of Troy Knight. Troy Knight drops to his
knees, only to be met with a drop kick to the face by The Ginga. Troy
Knight is down, and The Ginga goes for the cover. 1.2.kickout by Troy
Knight.]
JP: You can't tell me that was a normal
speed count, Sully. That was very fast.
Sully: Will you just let it go, JP? Ace
Spade is calling it down the middle!
[The Ginga pulls Troy Knight to his feet, and executes a double
arm suplex. Troy Knight gets groggily to his feet, and is met by one,
two, three, ten punches by The Ginga! The crowd is cheering as The
Ginga goes for another pin.1.2.kickout.]
JP: Even with the quick counts of Ace Spade,
The Ginga just can't pick up the quick win.
Sully: They are normal counts, JP. Just let
it go.
JP: Whatever, Sully. It is still going to
take more than that to defeat the Television Champion.
[Both combatants are back on their feet, and exchange blows. Troy
Knight is sending The Ginga back, backpeddaling, with a series of
rights, and finally off his feet. As he moves to press his attack,
Ace Spade pulls him aside, and warns him about using a closed fisted
punch. Troy Knight is outraged, and moving in on Ace Spade, when The
Ginga comes from behind Troy Knight, and hits him with a powerful
lowblow. Troy Knight doubles over, and The Ginga sends him to the
corner turnbuckle. Troy Knight hits it hard, and The Ginga presses
the attack, smashing the face of Troy Knight right into the
turnbuckle. As Troy Knight comes stumbling off the turnbuckle, he
ismet with a powerful clothesline by The Ginga.]
JP: The Ginga showing no mercy out here
tonight, Sully. With the help of Ace Spade, he might just walk out
with the victory tonight.
Sully: Help, what help? Ace Spade is calling
this match down the middle, and being as unbiased as he can
be.
[The Ginga goes for the cover, and Ace Spade drops down for the
count. 1.2.kickout just in time by Troy Knight. The Ginga brings Troy
Knight to his feet, and sends him for a ride off the ropes. Troy
Knight bounces back, and hits a flying elbow to the face of The
Ginga, sending him to the mat. Troy Knight presses the attack with
leg drop to the neck of The Ginga. Troy Knight brings The Ginga to
his feet, and sends him flying to the ropes. Troy Knight runs off the
opposite side, and bounces off, and both wrestlers are running toward
each other. The Ginga ducks, thinking a clothesline is coming, and
Troy Knight leaps into a sunset flip, rolling The Ginga up for the
pin. Ace Spade walks over, and begins the count.
1.............2....kickout by The Ginga.]
JP: Are you serious? You can't tell me that
was a normal count, Sully! That was just as slow as can be!
Sully: Whatever you say, JP. Whatever you
say...
[Troy Knight jumps to his feet, and gets in the face of Ace Spade.
Ace Spade shrugs non-commitantly, and The Ginga gets to his feet.
Sensing trouble, Troy Knight reverses the applied headlock The Ginga
was putting on him, and rushing behind The Ginga, jumps up, and
brings his legs over the shoulders of The Ginga. Swinging around in
mid air, Troy Knight brings himself down, under the legs of The
Ginga, and rolls him up for a count. Ace Spade, shrugging, drops to
the mat.1.................kickout by the Ginga.]
JP: This is getting pretty ridiculous,
Sully. Even you have to admit that.
Sully: I will admit nothing, JP. Call the
match fair, will ya? You could take some notes from Ace Spade out
there.
JP: Why you...
[The Ginga is the first to his feet, and beats Troy Knight to the
attack. He sends Troy Knight stumbling back with a series of rights
and lefts, until Troy Knight is backed up against the ropes. The
Ginga hooks the arms of Troy Knight in the ropes, and backs up. He
takes a running start, and hits Troy Knight with a huge blow to the
face, sending Troy Knight to the outside of the ring!]
Sully: The Shut Up Factor! Will get ya
everytime!
JP: Not everytime, Sully! Look!
[As The Ginga is celebrating in the ring, Doomsday comes rushing
down the ramp, and slides in the ring. He runs up to the back of The
Ginga, and hits a running bulldog. While The Ginga and Doomsday start
trading blows, Ace Spade slides out of the ring, and checks in on
Troy Knight. He helps him up, and asks if he is alright. When Troy
Knight nods his head, Ace Spade grabs him, and sends him flying into
the ring steps, sending them flying. Ace Spade smiles, and heads back
in the ring.]
JP: What the hell was that about?
Sully: Okay, maybe that was a little
much...
JP: A little much?! What happened to being
biased?
[Doomdsay and The Ginga are trading blows in the middle of the
ring, and Ace Spade rushes to break it up. He walks to the middle of
them, and an inadvertant blow by The Ginga sends Ace Spade to the
mat. Doomsday smiles, and puts The Ginga down with a hard
clothesline. Doomsday picks up The Ginga, and hits a powerbomb. He
claps his hands, and slides out of the ring. Troy Knight is coming
to on the outside of the ring, and slowly rolls himself into the
ring. Ace Spade is shaking his head, but not yet on his hands and
knees. Troy Knight is up, and he has a chair! He swings, and connects
with the head of The Ginga.]
Sully: What were you saying about being
fair, JP?
JP: Well, he had to do something to keep
things on the same level.
[The Ginga is out, and Troy Knight walks over, and lays the chair
on the face of The Ginga. Then, he climbs the top rope, signals to
the crowd, and to a huge roar of cheers, does the Rump Thump on the
chair, on the face of The Ginga!]
JP: Oh my god! Did you see that, Sully! On
the face of the Ginga!
[Troy Knight slides the chair out of the ring, and goes for the
cover. Ace Spade is coming to, and Troy Knight screams for him to go
for the cover. Ace Spade, clearly unhappy about it, drops to the mat.
1................2.................. shaking his head, he slams his
hand down one more time, then leaves the ring. 3!]
Peter Santos: The winner of this match, and still MWF
Television Champion, Troy Knight!
Sully: God damnit, is this man unbeatable
when he has that belt around his waist?
JP: Even with all that cheating going on the
good man prevails, that was a thumb in the eye to every Tim Sullivan
in the world from Troy Knight right there.
Sully: Ace Spade must be distraught, I think
his whole plan was for Troy Knight to leave Peoria tonight a
disgraced and broken man.
JP: You can't break a man like Troy Knight,
he is simply unbreakable when he becomes the MWF Television
Champion.
Sully: The Ginga put up one hell of a
fight.
JP: He sure did, all credit to him, but it's
just not meant to be.
Sully: Troy Knight and his blatant cheating
to...
JP:...Troy Knight cheated! What about Ace
Spade and all those slow and fast counts, he was doing everything to
try and help The Ginga to win and in the end he realised that good
always wins.
[Ace Spade is slowly walking up the ramp as Troy Knight rises to
his feet, collecting the MWF Television Championship he stands
glaring up the entrance ramp with Ace Spade looking back at him. Ace
Spade waves to Troy Knight and mouths the words 'bye-bye', Troy
Knight looks down and helps The Ginga to his feet. The Ginga stares
angrily at Troy Knight..."Troy Boy" offers The Ginga a handshake and
the crowd roar loudly...The Ginga slowly brings his hand up and the
crowd roar as the two men shake hands.]
JP: Now that was nice, see...he really is a
nice guy.
Sully: All a stunt, everything Troy Knight
does has a double purpose, he's just kept The Ginga off his back for
a few weeks by that handshake.
JP: It's not so much a handshake as an
apology, I hope these two can meet in a fair match one day without
all that cheating going on behind them.
Sully: I thought Ace made a great referee,
sign him up as a referee for next week.
