Sully: I'm rather disappointed that Anarkist isn't going be here tonight.

JP: H--n't booked, but who ever said he wasn't goin-.- he-..?

Sully: That's true, he's be-.- own to be a li-.- sneaky!

JP: One thi-- or-- sure thou--

[JP and Sully slowly start to get cut off, as we have seen happening quite often lately. As always, they are completely unaware of the increasingly low transmission clarity. Static randomly cuts off the audio and visual aspects of the MWF production until finally the entire feed is cut. Static scrolls the screen and it's constant stratching sound is all that is heard. However that too slowly fades when the center of the screen slowly starts to burn up. From the middle outward, a flame eats at the image leaving behind nothing but black. The flames take only a few seconds to consume the whole screen and we are left with nothing. No sound, no visual. Moments later the sound of footsteps can be heard from a distance. Along with them comes the familiar voice of Laval, who can be heard but not seen.

Laval : In a world shrouded by darkness and evil, the light beacons over you. In a sea of intolerable grievances, you have been chosen. Amongst a hoard of mendacious wolves, hungering for their next sin, stands an unexpected righteousness duo. Two rogue angles who seek deliverance, but whom cannot attain it without help. Which is where my work lay. I have been sent here to speak to you and in turn be found. I was told specifically not to seak you, but that your finding me was a key piece in this perplexing puzzle. To those whose eyes have been irreversibly covered in ominous and perpetual darkness, my words cannot be understood. Only The Chosen have the ability to decipher the true meaning of the words I speak.

[Laval's footsteps become much louder but fewer in between. His pace is evidently slowing as he draws near, but he remains out of sight.]

Laval : At long last I have been discovered, at least partially. My words have reached their intended recipient, but that accounts for only half the work. You now realise your role in all of this. You now see that you are but half of the solution. All along, deep down inside, you know that something has been missing. The unforgivable injustices, the incessant cruelties, and unremitting feeling that you're entitled to so much more than you're being allocated. Fortunately, you're dawning on solution. It is so close, and yet you're so far. His role in all of this is equivalent to yours, without both of you none of this will work, you know that. His implementation is key, and will sway everything to our favour. Without him, we will be brushed aside like every past attempt. With him, nothing shy of armageddon will be at our finger tips.

[Laval finally walks into the shot and we see those piercing eyes take center stage. The are again covered by tinted glasses, but the fire burning in them can't be hidden. Laval continues.]

Laval : You must continue your search, and never relent. Through the bleakest of times and darkest of feelings, never must you question the plausibility of all of this! It is of highest priority that you trust what I say, it must become your reason for living. In exactly seven days the trials and tribulations you'll endure from now until then will come to fruition. You must find the one that has been cast aside, the one that seeks salvation! However it won't be that easy, simply because he doesn't know he wants to be saved. His emotions are taking priority over him and his vision is cloudy. For the next seven days you must hunt him down and come to a conclusive decision. His salvation rests in your hands, your success lies in his hands. You have the gruelling task of finding someone who doesn't know their lost. As unstoppable as you both are alone, together you'll be apocalyptical!

[The shot slowly zooms out as Laval lowers his head and his face comes into view. He stands with his shaven head bowed dawning a long cloak with a blue sash that hangs over both his shoulders. Laval then dart his head up and stares a hole right through the screen. He speaks one last time, in a most passionate and serious tone.]

Laval : You've exceeded all expectations to date, but now comes the true test. You have seven days to find him. Failure will result in dire consequences, the likes of which you have never known. Success will results in materialisation of everything you've ever wanted. Over are the days of you being over looked. Over are the days of you being the recipient of pain. Over are your days as underrated. Change is upon us, success is upon us, pain shall be upon them! You have seven days to find The Other! In seven days you must confront him! And if he won't look, force him to!

[Laval continues to stare into the screen, his righteous words overshadowed by his demonic demeanour. All of the sudden an explosion of flames erupts from the center of the screen and devour everything. We can faintly hear Laval echoing the words "Find him!" as the shot of JP and Sully slowly burns back. The two can be seen arguing but not heard. The faint sound of Laval's voice slowly dissipates and in his place Sully and JP are heard. ]

JP: It could very well be Laval, but I can't say for sure.

Sully: It's him, you can't be naive enough to think that it isn't.

JP: It has nothing to do with being naive, it has to do with speculation. I can't see what's going on, so how can I make a judgment?

Sully: I know full well that it's him, and I know full well that he just spoke to Gutter Rat again. I don't know what he told him, but it no doubt has something to do with that "Other" guy.

JP: The who, with the what now?

Sully: Typical John, typical. Have you not been watching the promotional videos this week?

JP: Of course I have, Doomsday and Commissioner Wayne have been a busy pair. Not to mention the ever colourful world of Troy Knight. Why do you ask?

Sully: You biased fool, Gutter Rat has been talking about Laval and "The Other" all week. I though you were a little more professional than that John!

JP: Soooorry!

Sully: You know what, just go to a commercial until we get this figured out, I need a drink!
