JP: Welcome back to the MWF Awards 2004, so far we've seen Kronik win the Best Tag Team Award, MAYhem be voted the Best Pay - Per - View and Troy Knight and Thunder Bull's three stages of hell match be awarded with the Best Match Award.

Sully: It's a great night here, a really good feeling amongst all the wrestlers.

JP: It's important to try and get a team spirit between these wrestlers.

Sully: Wrestling has always been an individual sport but these guys do need to work together if they want to produce fantastic shows and also fantastic matches.

JP: A great match requires team work, like Troy Knight, Ace Spade and Troy Knight, Thunder Bull, they worked on the match together and really put on a show.

[The MWF CEO, who has so far been giving a smooth cause to the presentation of awards raises his hand for attention from the chattering tables. They fall silent and Walker starts speaking.]

Walker: This next award is going to be presented to the wrestler who really sticks his neck out in matches and goes that extra mile. The wrestler that takes risks, and bleeds for the MWF. We've had some great MWF Xtreme Champions over the years and some great hardcore wrestlers. It's a strange niche of wrestling but one that continues to grow and we recognise that fact.

[The camera cuts to focus on Gutter Rat who sits, masked, on a table with some of Walker's family.]

Walker: To present this award I'd like you to welcome a former MWF World Heavyweight and Xtreme Champion, the runner-up in the Hardcore Legend Award last yearI give you, NomaD!

[NomaD comes out, looking less wild than usual, as he has dressed in smart jeans and a shirt, with blazer. He walks over and shakes the hand of the MWF CEO and they exchange a few words before NomaD steps to the mic.]

NomaD: Great to see you all again guys!

[A few cheers go up, especially from the more extreme wrestlers in the hall as the former MWF World Heavyweight Champion prepares to give out the trophy. The actual trophy itself is wrapped in a crown of barbed wire.]

NomaD: This award means a lot to me. I came close, but that damn Seth Caliko beat me to it. I had some great times in the MWF and I will always remember fondly winning the MWF World Heavyweight Championship. It took long enough.

[NomaD chuckles at this comment and the crowd laugh with him, he continues.]

NomaD: Whoever wins this award is of the highest standard and the MWF Xtreme Championship is a really special title. Please put your hands together for the MWF's Hardcore Legend Award winner of 2004... The Hobo!

[The camera switches to The Hobo, who is seated with his fellow Master Plan friends and he looks shocked at having won the award. He turns to Tempest who slaps him on the back, looking slightly jealous, and orders him to get to the front. Enigma hugs his friend as The Hobo walks past him and down the aisle of tables.]

JP: The Hobo's had an amazing year, really coming to life.

Sully: His record is improving all the time.

JP: It really is and I have a funny feeling that old Tempest is scared at the talent of this kid.

Sully: Hobo's not that much of a kid anymore.

[The Hobo looks humbled as he shakes the hand of NomaD and is presented by the former MWF World and Xtreme Champion with the trophy. The Hobo stands shaking as he looks out across a hall of legends.]

Hobo: Ummhi. I really don't know what to say as I'd kind of, well, resigned myself to losing. I beat people like Gutter Rat and Doomsday to win this award and that's just, wrong.

[Walker places a hand on the shoulder of The Hobo and pats him on the back for support.]

Hobo: I'd like to thank my great friend Enigma for getting me through this year. He's always been there and I'm so glad he was allowed to come back. Also thanks to Tempest, he's a real professional and I think my winning streak was down to him in a lot of ways. And thanks to all of you, for putting up with my stinking self.

[Everyone laughs and The Hobo raises the trophy, a few cameras flash as he cradles the trophy in his arms and walks off backstage with it, as he chats to NomaD.]

Walker: A remarkable wrestler there who just goes to show that you can achieve anything in the MWF. Who thought a no good tramp would have the chance of winning awards and titles? The Hobo has a bright future ahead of him.

[Walker takes a sip of his water before continuing to address the awaiting hall.]

Walker: We are now half way through this award ceremony and we're going to move swiftly onto the Most Dramatic Feud award. It pains me to say that we can't be joined by the man who was supposed to present this award tonight, but he is going to join us not in personbut live through satellite link up from his home.

[The MWF banner falls away to the side to reveal a large plasma screen and applause rings around the hall as the former General Manager of the MWF, Fozzy, is shown sitting on a large chair in a lounge.]

Fozzy: Hello there! Well, well, wellit's that time of year again. We all know that I should win every award going but alas that cannot happen, Walker you're too good and righteous for that. Now this award was actually won by Walker and myself last year, quite a turn up for the books but Walker and I really hit the ground running. We were trying to work out the best way to keep people really fascinated with the MWF and what better way than us two screaming at each other?

[Some laughter comes from the watching crowd of tables, as Fozzy smiles and continues.]

Fozzy: Down to business. The winner of this year's Most Dramatic Feud Award are two of the people I really pretend to not like. Would you please put your hands together, for President Wayne and CEO Walker!

[Walker looks shocked as the hall rises to it's feet and applauds the MWF CEO as he takes the awardPresident Wayne makes his way to the MWF award stand and shakes hands with Walker as they turn to face the hall.]

Walker: I really didn't expect we'd win.

Wayne: We're only just beginning.

Walker: That's for sure. You haven't seen much of Walker/Wayne yet and just wait for the end of this month when it really kicks off.

Wayne: It's great to see you all here tonight and thanks for this award but it really should of gone to two wrestlers who rocked and brawled all over the early part of 2004. Ace Spade and Troy Knight, we are in your debt for the most amazing feud.

[President Wayne is applauded for this show of humility, he takes the award from Walker's grasp and makes his way back through the exit. Walker wipes a hand across his forehead and then pulls a tissue from his pocket to wipe the sweat from his forehead.]

Walker: I had my money on Knight and Spade to win that one, damn, looks like I've cost myself some money there.

[The crowd laugh at Walker's misfortune, the MWF CEO smiles and continues.]

Walker: We're going to move onto a great award now, this recognises the most creative wrestler in the MWF in terms of their promotional work. We all know that matches and shows are wrestling, but it's all the hype and wars of words that make those matches something else. This award is always fiercely contested and none more so than this year. The standard of promo work has been undeniable and I hope we get to see more of the same in 2005.

[Walker clutches the award in his hand, and has a wry smile on his face.]

Walker: This year we saw one man enter both the Most Creative Promo Award and the MWF Legend Award. That man has made the biggest single contribution to the MWF in history. He is a man that many will remember even when he is gone. Tonight we recognise a historic double award winwould you please put your hands together and honour, Troy Knight.

[The roars and cheers echo through the hall and many wrestlers stand to salute a true MWF legend. Troy rises from his seat, pushing a stray strand of blonde hair from his face as he hugs Jonathon Taylor Thomas and shakes hands with his father Lawrence Knight. Troy grabs Miles and puts him on his shoulder, and takes Bobby by the hand as the father of two steps down the aisle of tables. Walker stands with extended hand as Bobby runs up the steps and hugs the MWF CEO.]

JP: What a sight, what a marvellous sight.

Sully: I doubted Troy Knight at the start but this guy has just turned the MWF on its head, when everyone thought all hope was lost this guy was always there.

JP: A locker room leader if ever there was one.

Sully: Put aside the controversy, this guy is fantastic.

[Troy sets Miles down as Bobby steps up to the mic.]

Bobby Knight: My daddy would likes to thanks you all for comings tonight.

[Troy nudges Bobby to the side and the young Knight moves aside to let his father speak for himself. Walker hands Troy both the MWF Legend and Most Creative Promo Award. Troy has a lump in his throat as he speaks.]

Troy Knight: I'm absolutely gobsmacked. I just don't know what to sayand that doesn't happen often.

[The hall roars with laughter at Troy's wit, Walker smiles and applauds the former MWF World Heavyweight Champion.]

Troy Knight: As Bobby said, I would like to thank you all for coming. It's such an amazing sight to see all this wrestling talent in one room and to think that I'm stood up here winning both these awards that you could all so easily have won. You people are fantastic. The best.

[Hearty applause comes from the tables of superstars as they watch Troy Knight raise both trophies.]

Troy Knight: The MWF is a place where I have felt at home. I've never felt at home until I came here, I'd travelled some different promotions and none of them really stuck out. I sat down with this man, Edward Walker, and we signed a contract. From that day I did everything I could to make the MWF what it is today, but it wasn't just me. I'd like to thank all those who did it with me, Ace Spade, Doomsday, Insane Wayne, Anarkist, The Hoboall these guys were there fighting alongside me to make the MWF what it is today.

[More applause comes from the crowd as Troy Knight turns to take his children by the hand and head through the exit. But Walker grabs him by the shoulder and leans down to the mic.]

Walker: I'd like to take a moment to show our appreciation to Troy Knight. In his honour, no longer will it be known as the Most Creative Promo Awardbut from this day forward in recognition of one of the best in the business, it will be the Troy Knight Award!

[A massive cheer breaks from the tables at this announcement from the MWF CEO and Troy Knight shakes his head in disbelief.]

JP: What a fantastic thing to do.

Sully: A deserving credit to the man who really set the standard. He was a professional wrestler through and through.

JP: His father deserves a lot of credit. He came in and made his son win, he made his son think like a champion.

[Walker leans both arms on either side of the awards stand, still one award remains unclaimed. Walker's voice is still emotional from the speech about Troy Knight.]

Walker: We're going to take a break now and then we'll be back with our final award of the night, the Future Star Award. Thanks.
