Max Has finish shooting his new movie "Waiting" back in April in which he plays a wannabe gangsta busboy. The movie is comedy about Mid-class chain restaurant employees and all of the wacky things that happen there.

"Marking a significant milestone for a home-grown movie, Lions Gate Films International has acquired international sales rights to "Waiting," an independent feature that was shot in New Orleans and partially financed by a local bank with loan guarantees from Louisiana taxpayers.

Lions Gate is also close to closing a deal in which the company will acquire domestic distribution rights, sources close to the negotiations said.

"It's not a bad deal," said Malcolm Petal, chief executive of the Louisiana Institute of Film Technology of New Orleans and executive producer of the film, which wrapped production in New Orleans last month. "It removes the fear of getting the bank and the state out of their loans, and if they (Lions Gate) spend a decent amount of money marketing it, it could be a hit."
