"I made my official debut in PRIDE. I may have lost the battle but the war has just begun. The experience gained from this awesome spectacle will help me tremendously in my future training, this will make me an even stronger gladiator. I took this fight with not even a week's notice for I have learned that a true Gladiator does not shrink or limit himself from any challenge no matter how compressed the time may be for preparation. My opponent was very strong and it is no wonder he's where he is at in terms of MMA, I congratulate him for a fight well fought. This sport is producing some wonderful and exciting fighters and I am honoured to be a part of this evolving process and I am sure all of you fans are enjoying watching this talent showcase their abilities in the arena. I would like to thank PRIDE for the opporunity given to me and I am eternally grateful for allowing me to make yet another goal of mine become a reality, I look forward to a long association with MMA. Thank-you everyone who watched my fight and to all of you friends who cheered me on at Wooly Bullys Pub in Edmonton, I hope I gave everyone there a good show: cheers!"
