| 9:00 in the UFO Center: "Okay Maria, Don't come back until 11:00PM. And try to keep her from eating a lot. I want her to be hungry for what I'm gonna make." Max said sternly. Maria laughed and said "Max, don't worry so much. You've told me this ten times already. I got it." Max lowered his head sheepishly and blushed. "Sorry, it's just..." he trailed off. "I know, I know, you want this to be perfect for Liz. God, I wish Michael did stuff like this. Why did Liz have to get the good alien?" she pouted playfully. Max laughed "But you love him anyway don't you 'Ria." "You know me too well girlfriend." Maria smiled affectionately at Max. Max smiled at the inneuendo Maria had taken up calling him when they bonded together over their broken hearts. Liz was in Florida and Michael was being a jerk so they teamed up and cried on each others shoulders. "I know Michael's a crappy boyfriend most of the time. But he loves you Maria so give him a chance. He might surprise you." Max finished. "Don't mess with my head Max. I'll see ya later. Good luck tonight." she said sadly and got up to go. "Maria, you'll be fine." he stated rather than questioned it. Maria smiled at how caring Max could be. "I know thanks Max." "Anytime." Max smiled back. Maria walked out the door leaving Max with only 2 hours to get everything ready. |
