| "So.... that went well." Liz joked. "Yeah." Max nodded never taking his eyes from her lips. "What do you wanna do now?" Liz asked nervously and tucked her hair behind her ear out of habit. "Let's.... talk." Max said making it clear he meant anything but. "O-o-o-okay." Liz choked out, feeling really faint from the intensity of his stare. Max rushed at her and fused his lips with hers. He wrapped his arms around her waist bringing her body into intimate contact with his. Liz moaned softly and ran her fingers through his hair. They stumbled backwards until they bumped into the counter. Max lifted her up onto the cool surface and stepped between her legs, needing to be as close to her as possible at the moment. Then he stopped his sweet torture and rested his forehead against Liz's. "We have to stop." he murmered, desperately trying to get control of his very aroused body. "Uhuh." Liz barely replied. She kissed him softly, the urgency of the moment was gone. "Can I pick you for school?" Max asked when he helped her off the counter. "You better!" she smiled. Max smiled too and replied "What time?" "Seven okay?" "Sure. And uh," he wrapped his arms around her waist lazily "what time does your shift end tonight?" he whispered suggestively. Liz gasped slightly. "A - a - at 8." was all that she managed to get out. "Well then, Liz Parker would you do me the honor of going out on a date with me?" Max asked playfully. Then injected "Here of course." and smiled. "Gee, I don't know Mr. Evans, I mean why on earth would I wanna go out with you? I've had several other offers you know. What makes you so special?" Liz said back while playing with the hair at the nape of Max's neck. Max smiled brightly and whispered seductively into her ear "I can do things that would blow your mind." Liz gripped him tightly and kissed him soundly. Then she pulled away and practically kicked him out the door. " 'Night Max, sweet dreams." Then started to close the door. "Wait was that a yes?" Max questioned already knowing the answer. Liz smiled and shook her head exasperatingly. "Do you really need to ask?" "No." he he smiled. "But what time do want me to come?" he countered. "I'll see you at eight okay Max?" Max nodded and said lovingly "I love you Liz." Liz smiled faintly and whispered " I love you Max." He grinned and hopped into the jeep. Liz waited until the beat-up, loud car was out of sight until she went back inside and locked the door. She trudged upstairs and walked into the living room of the apartment. "Goodnight Mom" she says and kisses her mother on the cheek. "Goodnight Daddy." she hugs him and then whispers in his ear. "Thank you. I love you." Then she walked down the hall to her room leaving two stunned parents in her wake. Having so much stress on her lately and then having it released so quickly made her extremely exausted. So she dropped onto the bed and fell asleep not even bothering to take off her shoes. |
