Enjoy a round of golf at North America's oldest

country course. See living history at Fort George or learn about the
past at the Historical Museum. Ride the historic S.S. Pumper or speed
up the river on the Whirlpool Jet Boat. The northern terminus of the
Niagara River Recreation Trail is at Fort George. Used as a walking,
cycling and roller blade path parallel to the Niagara River, you can
travel 56kms south to Fort Erie. Rent a bike or join a guided bicycle
tour of our wineries. You can also follow the wine route by car or
visit the wineries in season on a local tour bu or take a
short walk to enjoy and take pictures a at Niagara Park.
The
Shaw Festival
This festival is one of the largest repertory
companies in North America, and the only theatre in the world that
specializes in plays written by Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries
(1856-1950): "plays about the beginning of the modern world." The
season this year will start on November 27 and run till December 4,
2005.
