My goal and lifelong aspiration is to represent my country, the United States of America, in International and Olympic Dressage competitions.
This goal requires not only that I have a talented horse partner, but also that I partner with others who share my love of horses and dressage as a way to enhance their beauty.
I need the financial support of others to realize this dream and to help address expenses such as acquiring an international level horse, top level coaching, travel, competition entry fees, and equipment.
Sponsors can help in many ways, such as making direct contributions of funds, equipment, or supplies. Also, they can purchase a top level horse for me to train and compete. Another alternative is to make contributions through foundations to gain tax advantages.
The Dressage Foundation assists sponsors to provide financial assistance to Dressage riders, through �Training Sponsorship Unitrusts� and �Deferred Gift Annuities�. Through these options, a sponsor could both help me as well as gain a tax advantage.
