+ Countdown to the Convention 2003
The most important date in the Corinthian calendar is upon us! Yes, Corinthian are back at the Holte End, Villa Park for another Convention. On this page are all the details you need for the event. This page will be updated as more details are released.

 
- WHERE AND WHEN?
This years Convention will again be held at Villa Park, Aston Villa FC in Birmingham on Saturday June 31st and Sunday May 1st.

- THE SPECIALS
The Convention special has been chosen to be Ronaldinho in the Brazilian away kit. He follows in the footsteps of Owen, Gallagher, Trezeguet and Nakata as this years special.

This years World Club Legend is, like 2000, Roberto Baggio but this time in the home kit of Brescia. It is sure to be a real hit with collectors. It is limited to 18,373 produced.

A new range marking the World Cup has been created, Tournament Greats. This includes El Hadji Diouf of Senegal (4,807), Oliver Kahn of Germany (8,387), Michael Ballack again of Germany (7,927) and Korea's hero of the World Cup, Ahn Jung Hwan, limited to 4,507.

Rio Ferdinand appears as the England special. He comes in the NEW England home kit, limited to 5,410 only.

This years Ballon D'or is Brazilian genius Ronaldo, following Figo, Zidane, Baggio and Owen in previous years. It is limited to 6,667.

Two, XLs are to be released, the first is Sol Campbell wearing the new England home kit while Gabriel Batistuta appears in the Inter Milan home kit as the other limited edition XL. It is limited only to 2,713 produced.

Lastly, special guest Terry McDermott has been released as a ProStar in the England 1982 home kit. Terry will be signing at the Convention on the Saturday only.


- Also there on the day...
Saturday 31st May -
As I said above England legend Terry McDermott is this year's special guest. He will be signing at the Convention on the Saturday only.
Both ProStars and MicroStars membership packages are available in the Reception all weekend.
There will be a Blister shop holding a range of figures from KeyStars to 4 Packs.
The ever popular Pick 'n' Mix is back with loads of figures (loose no card) up for grab, 6 for £5.00 and 6 assorted blisters for £10.00!
The FA Cup will be at Villa Park for the Saturday only. Collectors have the chance to have their photo taken with the world's most famous trophy. Don't forget to bring your camera!
As always there will be a Gold and Platinum members lounge in the Houghton Suite. There will be a number of special releases in the lounge including sets of England MicroStars, MOTD figures and Japanese Lucky Boxes.
All weekend there will be a special offer - for every £20 spent at Corinthian, you'll get a free platinum pack.
Sunday 1st June -
Sunday will host the 3rd Annual World Club League Tournament. Past winners of this event are Adam Haddington and Richie Watkins.
There will be a chance to challenge other collectors to a game.
A lucky dip including MicroStars Series' 1 to 3 by base colour.
3 Packs and 7 Packs available all day.


Corinthian Convention Auction - 2.30pm - May 31st 2003
Corinthian are holding another auction in the Gold and Platinum members area of the Holte End on the Saturday. Among the figures going under the hammer are unreleased masters of Maradona and McManaman and a complete set of the 44 platinum packs from the 2002 memberships.
