On this page I will try to give you a "real" idea of what reps actually do. Contrary to popular belief it's not all sunshine and partying (despite what you may see on Club Reps)

This was taken whilst I was working in Tenerife.Thankfully just after this pic was taken, all my hair was shaved off, after I lost a charity bet on a fundraising day for kids at the local waterpark. Just one of the many things that went on that you dont hear about.
This was a typical week for me when I was working in Tenerife, some things changed weekly like the airport times, these were on a rota, but it gives you a rough idea how tough (but rewardable a reps life really is) Monday: Hotel visits 09:00-12:30 + 16:00-19:00 Reps Cabaret 20:00-00:00 Tuesday: Airport Day which could start as early as 03:00 if you were the unlucky one that week and would go on till around 22:00 Also hotel visits had to be made at some point during the day aswell Wednesday: Hotel visits as for Monday including Welcome Meeetings for new guests. During the afternoon you would be in the office cashing up your excursions for the week, normally a chaotic time, most of it spent in a corner with a calculator, can of Irn-Bru and 20 ciggies haha. Medieval Night: 19:30-00:00 then time for the pubs Thursday: Day off usually spent either on a boat or in the pub. Friday: Airport Day No.2 could start as early as 02:00 right through till 06:00 the following morning.Again hotel visits had to made at some point. Saturday: Again hotel visits including Welcome Meetings (same as Monday and Wednesday) Decades Night: 19:30-00:00 then pub time again. Sunday: Hotel visits as per Monday Bar Crawl 20:00 in the first pub through till roughly 02:00 Then you get to do it all over again the following week.It is a hard life at times but very rewarding in that you do get to help people enjoy their time in a foreign country in all sorts of ways from helping them with car hire, choosing excursions and the little things like keeping rooms on till they leave if they have a late flight or getting assistance for the elderly and disabled at the airport. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to go back to that sort of life again but as you can see from another page,I have a very good reason why not to go,and believe me that reason is worth it. Also I would recommend this to anyone who has fancied that sort of thing,it's not that hard to get in to and once you make it in then it's very hard to give it up and come back to "normal life"
