Tape the Inside...

The inside panels have already been covered with a fiberglass cloth, I did that before I assembled the hull. now all I have to do is build the epoxy/woodfiller filets and apply the fiberglass tape to the inside joints...

I was really worried that I wasn't building my epoxy/wood filler fillets thick enough, but since I went through both tubs of wood filler that came with my kit with very minimal waste, I must be using enough. I hope, anyway. Fortunately I ordered another tub of wood filler when I ordered some System Three Paint. The stuff is cheap, and I don't know if other people who've build this boat have run out of filler, but I recommend ordering an extra tub just to make sure you have enough. Like I said, it's cheap.

The canned air you see in the photo helped me to remove the epoxy dust from holes and cracks after sanding. You might want to keep a few cans handy, unless you have an air compressor... you know, like the one I want for Christmas *hint* *hint*.

Here's a tip that made dealing with the fiberglass edges much easier and neater. Before you lay down the fiberglass tape, lay a strip of duct tape where you want the glass seam to end. After the epoxy on the tape has started to cure (but don't wait until it's completely hard), trim the glass with a blade just inside the duct tape. Remove the duct tape, and you have a very clean edge.
