Make the Seats...
All out of fir plywood, I cut the seats out of 1/4" pine exterior plywood. The plans call for 3/8", but I couldn't find any of that thickness that was the quality I wanted. So I decided I would use a lighter thickness and add fir reinforcements under the seat for strength.

| I also added 3/4" fir to the bottom of the pine plywood, more for cosmetic purposes than anything. But I figured the added strength couldn't hurt. | |
