Character Bio - Capt. HM Murdock (Dwight Schultz)
Despite losing his marbles and going a little
nutty during his first tour of duty in Vietnam, Murdock is a skilled pilot. He flew
with the Air Force's renowned Thunder Birds squadren before the war left him "howling
mad" and confined to the Veteran's Hospital. The A-Team routinely broke Murdock out
of there for special assignments until he was deemed sane and released. Although Murdock
hears imaginary voices and has delusional visions, he is an excellent pilot and a valued
member of the Team. |

Quick Bio
Theatrically trained at Baltimore's Townsend State
University, Schultz's early work included an award-winning role opposite Charlton Heston
in The Crucifix of Blood. He appeared in TV shows like CHiPS and Hill
Street Blues before starring in the The A-Team. Today, he is best
known for playing Lt. Reginald Barclay in Star Trek: The Next Generation, First
Contact, and Voyager. Other recent TV appearances include spots in The
Chimp Channel and CatDog. He is married to Wendy Fulton and has a
daughter, Ava. |
