This toolkit provides great resources for teaching with technology.  It contains toolkit instructions, the principles of technology integration, project examples, a collection of resources for specific technical instructions, effective presentation, copyright considerations, and success stories.

Virtual Resource Site for Teaching with Technology

This site provides teaching/learnign activities, which utilize technology across various disciplines.  It contains informaiton about conceptual learning, problem solving, object and documentation analysis, data gathering and synthesis, case studies, virtual labs and field trips, presentations by teachers and students, collaborative learning, and authentic inquiry.

PBS TeacherSource Technology and Teaching
This site contains tutorials on the following topics: connecting you computer to the Web, getting online step-by-step help, e-mail, Web basics, plug-ins, downloading files or applications from the Web, authoring software, creating a Web site in HTML, graphics, Paint Shop Pro, PowerPoint presentations, Hypercard/Hyperstudio presentations, multimedia tutorials, multimedia copyright, and video conferencing.

Scholastic Teaching with Technology
This site provides simple, useful ways to integrate technology into the classroom that do not require all of your time.  It includes tutorials on making movies, managing your computer center, and using digital cameras.  The site also has articles on news and trends regarding technology integration.

NEA Technology in Schools
The National Education Association site contains information on how technology education, using education technology, and access to equipment enrich students' lives, expand their academic opportunities, and provide them with skills for future employment.  The NEA site also contains new studies about technology integration and its impact on students.

Teach-Nology
This site helps teachers create online student activities, quizzes and tests, Web pages, and class units.  It provides great curriculum resources, lesson plans, tutorials, and tools for teachers, as well as a place where teachers can discuss various issues.

The TLT Group: Teaching, Learning, and Technology
This site contains free resources for educators that will help them improve teachign and learning, access to a listserv, and free subscription to a newsletter.

PBS Teacher Source
PBS offers innovative online professional development for educators and discussion boards, in which educators across the nation can discuss various educational issues.  The PBS site also offers free lesson plans and activities for teachers.
