| "Skeet, have you found out anything yet?" she asked "Oh good I can't wait to get home." she said. "Can you come and get me though Josh seem to left me here." she asked before hanging up her phone. Shawnie hung up the phone and said to herself out loud "How could this have happened?" Shawnie's phone rang. She checked the caller ID and it was Josh's number. "Why would Josh be calling my phone?" She answered it. "Josh where the hell are you?" she asked. "Look behind you." he said to her. Shawnie turned around and there he was sittin on top of the hill. She started laughing and said "What are you doing?" "Why don't you come up here and find out?" he said Shawnie started walking up the hill. She stops and said "I'll be right there. I have to call someone first." She dialed Skeet back and told him not to worry about coming after her. She walked over to Josh and smiled. He had a blanket laid out with the candles and plates in the middle of it. He was laying down on his side and propping himself up with his arm. She looked down at the plates, candles, and him and smiled. "Well sit down and I will feed you. That is if you still trust me." he said to her. Shawnie started laughing and laid down on the blanket. He lifted up the silver cover and there was chocolate covered strawberries. He lifted up one and slowly headed for her mouth. When he reached her mouth she pulls her head back and said "I'm sorry you broke you trust once today, so I guess you will have to win my trust now." She picked up a strawberry and moved it over his mouth. "Now let's feed each other together." she said to him. "Okay let's do that." he said smiling. They fed each other until all the strawberries were all gone except for one. He raises it to her mouth and then dropped it and kissed her. He didn't noticed where the strawberry dropped until Shawnie jumped back and picked up the strawberry. It landed on her dress. She had a huge stain from the chocolate. She jumps up and said "Josh this will never come out. You just ruined my dress." "Oh Shawnie I am so so sorry. I will buy you a new dress. I didn't mean to ruin you dress." he apologized to her. "No, Josh you could never replace this dress. This dress was the last dress my parents got for me before they died. I hadn't got to wear it before because I had to grow into it. This was the first time I wore it because I finally was able to fill it out." she said with tears in her eyes. "You do fill it out well too. Shawnie, I will understand if you want to leave. I will take you home now." he said as he started getting up. Shawnie got up and said "No, we don't have to leave I just need to get this out of this dress. You don't happened to have soda water do you." "No I don't but I can get you some. Come on I will take you to the store to get some for you." he said and then started gathering up the blanket. He grabbed the end of the blanket by the corners and picked up the contents all up in the blanket. He grabbed her hand and lead her to the truck. He threw the blanket in the back of the truck and opened the door for her. He helped her up and then got in and headed for the store. When they pulled into the parking lot Shawnie saw someone that she knew but couldn't put her finger on it. Josh parked the truck and said "Stay here I will be right back." "Okay I will be here." she said with a smile. Shawnie started watching the person that was familiar to her. She got out of the truck and started following them. Then they stopped and turned around and said "Shawnie is that you?" Shawnie was scared and said "Yes, who are you?" "I'm your Aunt Joan. I am your mother's sister." she said "What are you doing here? I haven't seen you since I was ten. Where have you been? You didn't even come back when mom and dad got killed." Joan got quiet and then said "What do you mean you're parents are dead?" "Oh come on you had to know. Grant called you and you said that you would be here." Josh came out and saw that Shawnie was gone. He started looking around and saw her talking to a woman. He walked over to them. He could tell that Shawnie was getting angry, so he walked up to them and said "There you are I thought you left." "Josh I'm sorry, but I had to talk to this woman. Come on take me home." she said and turned away. Josh followed her. Joan looked at them and headed to her car so she could follow them. She wanted to find out were they lived. Josh was headed to her house when Shawnie looked behind her and said "Take a detour and lose that bitch." Josh looked in his rear view mirror and started taking back roads to lose her. He turned down a dead end road that led to his parents beach house. Shawnie looked at him and said "What are you doing? This is going to make her catch us." "No this is taking us to my parents beach house. She will never know what hit her." he told her. "What do you mean?" she asked. "You have to have a code to get in the gate. No one knows the code except my parents and me. Don't worry she won't get you here." he said to her "I have to call home. I have to get a hold of Skeet." she said "You can use our phone." he told her. Josh pulled up to the gate and put in the code. The gates open and he pulled through and stops. He made it so the code will close the gates faster and keep them shut. He runs back to the truck and gunned the truck up to the house. He helped her get out of the truck. They walk in the house and he hands the phone to her and said "I'll be in the kitchen while you talk." Shawnie dialed her house. Skeet answered the phone. Shawnie told him everything that happened and asked him for Uncle Grants phone number. When she got the number wrote down she told him not to leave the house for anything and not even Drea could leave. After she hung up the phone and went to the kitchen to find Josh. Josh was reading the paper when she walked in. He looked up and dropped the paper. "Do you have anything I can wear so I can get this dress soaking." she asked him. "Yeah I have something in my room. Here I will show you." he said and grabbed her hand and led her to his room. He walkes in and shows her to the closet. She opened it up and started going through his clothes. She finally decided on a long sweatshirt. She turned around and said "Where can I change at?" "You can go into the bathroom. It's right through that door." he said pointing. Shawnie walked in and locked the door. When she came out Josh was waiting for her on the bed. He looked at her and stared at her up and down. He started smiling. She saw him looking at her and finally said "Where can I put this to soak?" Josh had to get his composure before saying "You can put it in the kitchen sink if you like." Shawnie walked out and Josh stayed and watched her. He couldn't believe how beauitful she was with her long tan legs and how wonderful she looked in his sweatshirt. She looked like she belonged in that shirt. He walked out to the kitchen and found her leaning over the sink trying to get the stain out. He wraps his arms around her waist and started kissing her neck... |
