Part 13

Shawnie grabbed her conditioner that she uses after she swims, and her lotion. She put them in her bag and zipped it up and slung it over her shoulder and said, "Okay we can go now."
She started walking out the door and said, "Oh I forgot something!" She went back into her room and grabbed a notebook. She shoved it in her bag and walked out. When they got downstairs, Skeet, Grant, and Drea's cousin was just walking in the door. Shawnie looked at them and said, "That was fast."
"He wasn't there. Big surprise." Skeet said.
"Oh he's there, he just told his secertary that he wasn't in. Let me try." Shawnie said.
She walked over to the phone and dialed his number that went directly to his office. When he answered the phone she started talking to him and finally she said, "Meet me at the park in excatly ten minutes."
Shawnie got off the phone and said, "There you go. Meet him at the park. Do you want me to go with you?"
Grant started laughing and said, "I think it may be best if you do."
Shawnie looked at Josh. Josh smiled and said, "I'll take you."
She hugged him and they all left the house.
When they arrived at the park John McDonald was waiting for her. When he saw all of them getting out of the cars he started getting scared. Shawnie saw the fear in his face. She had to hold back her laugh. When they got up to him, Shawnie reached out her hand and said "John, I'm glad you agreed to meet me. This is my Uncle Grant and this is Brent. They are going to go over some papers with you."
They sat down while Grant and Brent went to work on John. John was scared because he knew that he had been had. He was dealing with big time lawyers and he was just a small time lawyer. Grant started to explain the papers and the will and told him that Shawnie and Skeet were not moving to Iowa for any reason. John started stuttering and finally confessed, "Okay this is the true story. There was a women that came into my office a month ago and said, that she wanted your house. I told her that she couldn't because it was left to you in your parents will. Then she told me that she was your Aunt Joan. Well I guess I used poor judgement and contacted your grandparents and told them what was going on. They are the ones that told me to draw up papers that said that you were to move to Iowa and that the house was going to be sold."
Grant looked at him and said "Why would you call their grandparents? The only person you were to call was me because I am their guardian, not them."
"I called them because they are really good friends of mine and I went to school with your parents. Your father and I were best friends." John said with his head down.
Grant looked at Brent and said, "I don't know, but I think we just found out that they get to stay."
Brent started laughing.
Grant looked at John and said, "Where is this women named Joan?"
"She staying over at the motel under my name. You can find her there." John said.
Grant stood up and shook John's hand and said "It's a pleasure doing business with you Mr.McDonald. It will be the last business that you do for these two. I want all of their case files brought to me by tomorrow morning at the house, and that will be the last thing you will have with this family."
John shook his head yes. Shawnie and Skeet stood up along with Brent, Drea, and Josh. Shawnie started to walk away when she turned around and said, "Why did you sell us out John?"
John didn't answer her. Shawnie turned around and left. Josh was waiting for her at the truck. She got up in the truck and yelled to Skeet, "I'll meet you at the house!"
Skeet waved back and left.   Josh got in the truck and said, "To your house then."
"Nope, to your house so I can get rid of my things and then we are going to have dinner." she said with a smile. Josh smiled and said, "Okay let's go."
When they got to the house Josh helped her out. When they got in the house Rain and River were sitting on the couch.    Josh stopped and said, "What are you doing here?"
Shawnie walked past them and said "I'll be in the bedroom."
River stopped her and said, "This has to do with you too."
Shawnie threw her bag down on the floor and sat down beside Josh.
Josh looked at both Rain and River and said, "So go on."
"Well the reason we are here is that we want to tell you that we are moving back to Arizona." River said.
"Good go. I don't want to see you for the rest of my life." Shawnie spoke up.
"Shawnie, don't be like that it was my idea for River to go after you as Josh. If you are mad at anyone, be mad at me." Rain said to her.
"Well I don't want to see either of you. How could you do this to me Rain?" she asked
Rain didn't answer her. Shawnie looked at her and said, "That's what I thought. You don't have an answer, because you are a coward. If you will excuse me I have things to do."
She got up and grabbed her bag and went to the bedroom. They watched her leave. Josh turned to them and said "I think you better be getting on to Arizona, and leave us alone."
Josh got up and went to the bedroom with Shawnie. She was putting her suits on a hanger.   She didn't look up when Josh walked in the room, she just said "Have they left yet?"
"Yeah I think I just heard them leave. I'm sorry that you had to sit in on that." he said to her.
Shawnie grabbed her conditioners and started towards the bathroom. He followed her in there and cornered her and said "Why don't we take a swim before we go to your house now and skip dinner?"
"No, I said that we were going to have dinner and we are going to have dinner before we go. They aren't expecting us anytime soon." she said smiling.
Josh let her by and followed her back to the bedroom. Shawnie stopped and turned around and said "Why are you following me?"
He started laughing and said "I like you when you are mad. Your cute little button nose curls up and you get this look in your eyes that just makes me want you even more than ever."
She started laughing and hit his arm.
He grabbed her and held her in a kiss that she couldn't get out of. She like melted in his arms.   When he let her go she was speachless. He started laughing and said "How would you like me to cook you dinner?"
"No I have something planned." she said.
"Well you can plan it some other night, because tonight you are mine." Josh said to her.
Josh grabbed her hand and took her to the kitchen. He put her up on the counter and went to the refrigerator and got strawberries and chocolates dip out and said "This is what I wanted to feed you for so long."
Shawnie looked at them and said "You already did."
Josh looked at her and said "River."
Shawnie shook her head yes. Josh said "Well now you will have them feed by the real me."
He started feeding her the strawberries until there was one left. She grabbed it and said "My turn."
When she put it up to his mouth she dropped it and kissed him. He picked her up and carried her to the bedroom while they were still kissing. He sits her down on the bed. She started to take his shirt off. He helped her take it the rest of the way off. He started with her shirt. She stood up to take her pants off. They were both standing in their underware.    He looked down at her body and smiled.   He picked her up and laid her down on the bed. She looked deep in his eyes. His eyes were filled with passion. She smiled up at him and started laughing. He laughed to and then started kissing her body. He kissed her stomach and then said "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"YES!!!" she yelled.
