| Clefairy: Rating: 2/5 This card used to be used more back in the day but the Neo Genesis Clefairy with 50 HP is better. This Clefairy is not that great because it takes 3 colorless energy to use Metronome when you could evolve it on the second turn and use Metronome for 1 colorless energy. Its other attack, sing is bad because you have to flip to put them asleep and all it does is put them to sleep witch is the worst status. Its also stinks because it gets a 1 hit KO by Hitmonchan and other fighting cards like Gligar from Neo Genesis and a great card, Tyrouge from Neo Discovery. |
| Gyarados: Rating: 3/5 Its a very good Water Pokemon because its not weak to Electric and it has a resistance to Fighting. Because of those, it can crush cards like Hitmonchan and survive against Rocket's Zapdos. A big problem is that its previous form, Magikarp is weak to Electric and can die in one turn. The good part is that Magikarp from The Team Rocket set is that it has a good attack, Rapid Evolution. The bad part is that people use cards like Scyther a card that can be used in any deck and it can kill Gyarados in a few hits. And lots of people use grass decks with Maganium and Venusaur. |
| Hitmonchan: Rating 3.5/5 This card is good cause it can kill Colorless Pokemon Fast. This was in most of the Original Haymaker decks but lost popularity when cards like Scyther, Movie Promo Mewtwo and Rocket's Zapdos were realeased. Its attack are very good. Like most haymaker cards, it has a good 1 energy attack that can kill a few Pokemon in one hit. Its other attack, Special Punch is good for killing Wigglytuff and Clefable. Also, it can make Chansey users think twice before using Double-edge |
| Machamp Rating: 2.5/5 This card sucks. Its a crappy stage 2 Pokemon with a 3 reatreat cost and only does 60 damage, and he has a really bad Pokemon Power. It only does 10 damage whenever you opponent attacks him. This works against cards that have a Fighting Resistance, but if they have a gold berry, the Attack combined with the Power Triggers the Gold Berry. Its a bad card, just don't use it |
