The Universe that we play in varies in many ways from the mainstream Marvel Universe. For starters, the year is 2005. "2005?" You question. Looking for a change in the pace of what we were doing, we decided to start a new in a wonderful fantastic future. So there for why not go into the distant future? Well, it actually has to deal with an adventure that one of us put together which required everything to move into the future a few years. He (Chris) thought that things were actually three years ahead (In 1998, this would have made the year 2001). I (Steve) though that things were in five year in the future (2003) and thus we compromised and make it four years into the future, which makes it the year 2002. And since time moves normal to real time in our universe, the wonderful year is now 2005. From there, everything else changes, but to understand those better, you might as well check out the links below to see what out universe is like.
Another not on our universe: Since none of us actually buy and read comic books any more, none of us actually have a clue as to what is going on in the mainstream Marvel Universe. Thus, in our Universe, people who are dead in the real Marvel Universe may be alive in ours and vice versa. Something that should be kept in mind when viewing things objectivly.
