Services We Provide
For Commercial & Institutional projects only, we provide:
- 3/8"=1'-0" scale ready to fabricate Shop Drawings done per SMACNA standards, and/or your shop
standards using AutoCAD and/or Cadpipe.
- Coordination with other trades (optional)
- As Built Drawings.
- Provide drawings on disk.
- Optimize architectural backgrounds for 3/8"=1'-0" scale plotting, and deliver them in the file format of your
choice.
Our Shop Standards
We Do:
- Field check (on renovation projects) and show all existing beams, walls, pipes, ductwork, or anything
else possibly conflicting with the new work. We show all pertinent elevations and dimensions on our
Shop Drawing.
- Check all background contract drawings provided on disk against the hard copies of contract drawings,
and if needed, modify the background to agree with the hard copies.
- Show all room and wall sizes and tie-ins available.
- List on the title block of our Shop Drawing: our Costumer and its address, the Architect, the Engineer,
the Construction manager, any specific contract information, the Project Name and Location, Job
Number, draftsman initials, scale and date drawn, duct ticketing symbols, elevation symbols, reference
contract Dwgs., revision info, flag notes, floor section, key plan, and provide space for A&E notes and
coordination information.
- Follow the engineer's design and routing, and flag any possible conflicts with low beams and/or other
ducts or piping, high ceiling and light fixture conflicts.
- Flatten ducts and/or or reroute piping to avoid conflicts without deviating from design intent and flag each
instance for A&E's approval.
- Draw elevations whenever is needed to ticket pieces or to show conflicts.
- Draw ceiling starting points, and show ceiling type and elevation for each room.
- Our drawings are ready for fabrication at time when first submitted.
We Do Not:
- Demo walls, remove and replace ceiling tiles, move furniture, or work in unsafe conditions.
- Provide multiple drawing copies for submissions.
