martin smith official website has details of a short film that he is shooting called 'accidents'. the film is shooting in the summer of 2005. it is his first short since his 1997 film 'we are the humans'.

08.06.04 martin has completed work on a set of films with shirley manson, lead singer of
garbage. also in the series of films are the boxer alex arthur, the artist john bellany and a 10-year-old edinburgh schoolgirl sophie watson. The films, entitled 'my city : edinburgh' are commissioned by channel 4 and are set to tour international festvals after uk transmission.
