I have just heard my In Nomine has won the 2007 Viola da Gamba Society of Great Britain's composition contest so I am going to load up Sibelius with my In Nomine notebook and think some more about In Nomines.

I have made good progress with my series of two part pieces for treble and tenor recorders written specifically for domestic use. 3 of them are already published on Sibelius Music. I have just finished one using the ground bass 'Ciaconna' but it has come out quite traditional because of the constraints of the ground. I am thinking about how onw can use this bass to produce a modern sounding piece.
