| MARTIAL PRODUCTIONS is a company created by Mr Djor aka Kryss The Alien to promote, diffuse and sell his music productions to independent urban artists, records companies, and publishers, as well as releasing material under his own label. |
THE COMPANY: Our goal is to represent, promote, produce and sell Black Urban Music (mainly Hip-Hop ) from anywhere in the world through a mix of events, recording and medias produced by the company. HOW DID IT START ? Martial Productions is the brainchild of Kryss The Alien aka Mr Djor (see bio below).MP started officially in 1998 as a weekly club night in North London called "Paris-London connexion" (PLX). This night was a mix of French, UK and US Hip-Hop and has proved to be a global success. After more than 30 parties, collaboration on the "DEKEFEX" Club Night in Brixton and some special events, we decided that it was time to move on. Over 40 DJs invited, over 30 UK & French Acts On Stage Voted best Hip-Hop Promoter 1999 by Echoes Magazine. |

| KRYSS THE ALIEN A.K.A MR DJOR KRYSS THE ALIEN was born in Paris where he grew up, playing bass and guitar in many venues of the French Capital with his Dancehall/Hip-hop Band. �I started music listening to Bob marley, Black Uhuru, Krs One and Public enemy as well as the Clash, The Sex Pistols or Dead Kennedy, so I�ve always had many influences and really like rebel music�. After a few years �on the grind�, fed up with the Parisian life and stress, he decided to leave France permanently for the UK, a place where he had never been before, without knowing anyone and barely speaking English. |

| �The last gig I�ve done in Paris was a hip-hop showcase in a Prison with just me and a �DJ�(the sound engineer improvising this role with a DAT tape) because my band didn�t want the hassle of doing this show. I could understand them because we had 2 other gigs in some trendy places the same day, but as a �political� thing to do, I was upset for them not willing to come. From then on I decided that I would do my own stuff, no strings. At the same time, Chirac (president of France), Sarkozy and his team of assholes had just been elected so I thought, if that�s what the people really want, I�m out of here.� He�s been living in London for 10 years now. Past the first years of straight survival, he starts promoting and co-producing events in 98 in London. The main one being a Hip-Hop night called �Paris-London Connexions in Camden Town and the early DEKEFEX nights in Brixton (Co-produced with Magnatraction, another club night). During this time, he received and met many MCs, DJs, and actors of the UK Hip-hop scene. After 2 years of Hip-Hop nights with a great response from the public but not the same financial reward, he decided to stop to concentrate on the music production instead of the club promotion. Producing demos and tracks for underground and aspiring artists, the next natural step was to, at last, release his music under his own label. �I�ve started to hear my beats on Freestyles, Mixtapes, and some DVD�s as well, and after meeting talented MCs like Armagideon and Tango (aka Mad Max), and producing for them, I realized that I was ready to go on the battlefield with some consistent and original music that I�m proud of� So now that you know a little bit more about who THE ALIEN is... Listen to the music, listen to the productions and get ready because the invasion has only just begun� |
