Happy New Year to all! Over the past few weeks, marriedmanweekend.com has been working with several companies to bring you easier navigation of our site, as well as the ability to expand and display more options for our loyal friends. We are still working out some "bugs" and anticipate moving our site in the near future to an "ad free" address. Currently, we are using the Geocities platform that gives us everything we need, but limits data transfer and requires ads. Downloading the longer trailers MAY cause a temporary "shutdown" of the site, until everything can be transferred to the new servers. Thanks for checking in!

Marriedmanweekend.com will be undergoing dramatic changes over the next few weeks. Several items will be added, including new pictures, video, and pages. We are currently in negotiations for server space that will give our site "unlimited" possibilities. These changes may cause the site to go "offline" for some periods of time for the remainder of the year, so bear with us and check back often!

The rumor mill has it that MMW VII, slated to take place in 2007, may actually take place in Key West, Florida instead of Pine Knoll Shores, NC.. Transportation issues are currently being floated around, and a final determination is expected to be made at MMW VI. We'll keep you up to date on this breaking news!

Married Man Weekend will achieve several "firsts" in the coming weeks, with the introduction of a mid-season gathering entitled "MMW V 1/2."
While the time will be shorter than a conventional MMW gathering, the games, fellowship, fun, and social aspects will maintain their deep roots and time honored tradition. MMW, Inc. will conduct it's first board meeting, electing officers who will sign and deliver the MMW Constitution.
In addition, a new game will be added to the MMW tradition, earning participants points in the newly created MMW Cup Challenge. New for MMW V 1/2 is the Home Run Derby, a game sure to test the skills and physical ability of all MMW participants for years to come. Participants will also be able to wager their Cup points on PS2 games, another MMW first.
A special "sneak-peak" viewing of the latest MMW DVD from Marsh Pictures will be shown, helping the MMW experience get started on the right foot, and setting the stage for a productive, yet inebriated, weekend.
Another first is due to a local golf tournament at the MMW home course, Bogue Banks Country Club. Due to this unfortunate event, the Married Man Weekend Golf Tournament will take place at a new location, the lovely...yet difficult...Brandywine Bay Golf and Country Club in Morehead City. Along with the new course comes two new games for MMW, the Long Drive competition, and the Closest to the Pin competition.
We will update our loyal website visitors upon our return...but give us a couple of days to rest...we're getting old!
