Exchanging rules
1. It is normal procedure
that the person who asks to start a trade sends the coins first.
2. If you have traded with other people, give their names as
reference. It is always better than waiting till you're asked
for references.
3. It is best to send coins via registered mail.
4. Pack your coins in a way that it's impossible to feel what's
inside the envelope (use bubble-plastic or special envelopes).
5. Wrap the coins in something before taping them. The coins
should not come in direct contact with any kind of glue.
6. If some coins are dirty, damaged, worn,... say so.
7. In case a package gets lost, don't tell the entire world the
person who sent the coins is a cheater. Have patience. Aks what
the other person will do. If it's someone you traded with
before, you might consider sharing the loss (the other person
sends you 50% of the value of the package that's lost).
8. In some countries it is forbidden to send coins by mail,
never write on the envelope what's in it. If you must indicate
what's in your package, write:: "souvenirs", "numismatics",
"collectibles",...... but never "coins". |
