Hello everyone, (March 26 1:30pm) (Your time is March 26 12:30am) Sorry it has taken us so long to give you news, its been crazy. Well, the flying was very long, for two full days we traveled. We stayed one night in downtown Shanghai. We went walking on the main strip, it was like another world. We finally got to our hotel in Nanning the 24th at 7pm and the babies were to arrive at 8:00pm. We were all in the lobby when 11 NouNou (Nanny's) came in with 11 babies. We all gathered around trying to recognize our child. But before we could find her, they made us go up to the 6th floor. As we were headinf to the elevators we recogized Myandra. Mario and I couldnt keep our eyes off of her. Finally, I could go to her and at first I just spoke to her and then I finally had her in my arms. She didnt cry but she kept her eyes and the CD that the NouNou gave me as a gift. As you see in the picture she is not happy because our guide just took the CD out of her hand. Now a little about our daughter: I dont think she has gained a pound since our report. I weighed her on the scale in my arms and it says she weighs 12 pounds, we will find out offically in Beijing when she has her medical exam. She is the smallest of the 11 babies. She is very insecure she cries the minute we put her down. She has trouble falling asleep alone. At nap time this afternoon we left her crying in her crib and after 15 minutes she stopped and started playing. She has not smiled at us, but she has started to gurgle a little. She accepts the we hold her close but won't accept that we touch her hands. She is so tiny. She looks more like the picture with her nounou than the one on the blanket. She is drinking milk but that is it. We have tried cereal and she hates it, but we plan on feeding some anyway because she is so small. We may need to put it in her bottle mixed with the milk as we are told the chinese do at times. She had a fever yesterday we gave her some Tempra and it went down. Now we have to work on helping her be less dependent which means letting her cry a little more, but it is so hard knowing what she has gone through the last few days. Thank god we have other parents to help. Today is the first day I feel more like myself , the time change and the plane rides were really hard I was so tired when we got Myandra, thank god she slept well the first night. Well thats it for now Mario wants to write in french
