BCC Institutional Goals

The BCC graduates stand with hope because their Catholic education inspires them to love God absolutely, and to place total confident in God. They look to God not to possessions but a source of supreme happiness and freedom. They are imbued with concern and respect for the dignity and worth of persons, communities, nations and all of creation and are formed to work for social transformation, ecological preservation and enhancement and just relationship between nations. They are trained to be highly competent in their field of study according to theirgreatest potential. They are natured to imbibe the following values of a Christian: In 1961, the college department was opened to enable her own high school graduates, as well as those from the neighboring towns, to obtain a college degree in Binalbagan. After a certain amount of difficulty with the Department of Education, a permit was obtained. Binalbagan Catholic School becomes Binalbagan Catholic College. The family of late Sabas and Carmen Locsin donated an 8,000-square-meter site. The Columban Priest provided some financial aid to build six new rooms. Since then, the following courses were opened with government recognition and permit, to wit:
