Congratulations
you have been selected to design and create the latest and greatest
roller coaster ride!
Before you begin, you will need to learn quite a bit about roller
coasters and be able to describe how they work and the forces that act
upon them to keep them moving through all those loops.
You will need to do some research on the history of roller coasters and
the different types of roller coaster rides. Your research will
take you to new heights and you will even visit different theme parks
across the country. On the web, of course.
What makes a roller coaster fun and exciting? How do they move
and how fast will it go? And how does it stop?! That's very
important to consider. When you are finished with your research
and design of your roller coaster, you will have a chance to submit
your idea to a real theme park.
