OK, here is the electric end of my S-Koala. I will have radio, GPS, intercom, RPM meter, ignition and maybe some lights that needs electricity. I have made my own intercom, internal antenna and flash lights. I'm not really sure about navigation lights yet. I must play by the total flying weight quite much... |

Pikkuisen koneeseeni tulevasta s�hk�puolesta. Moottorissani on 20 amppeerin laturi joten pienet s�hk�vehkeet toimivat. Sytytys, radio, intercom, GPS ja RPM mittari ainakin tarvitsevat s�hk��. Intercom on itsetekem�ni samaten takarungossa oleva antenni. Lis�ksi rakentelin pari stroboa mitk� voisi asentaa siivenk�rkiin navivalojen kanssa, katsotaan nyt mit� tuo lentopaino antaa my�den. |

At this point I was able to see that this engine with this ignition needs electric start to run. My original plan was to start by hand from prop. Anyhow this ignition needs couple of pulses from pic-up coils before it starts to give sparks and this means more than just handpropping over one combustion. So only possibilities is to use electric starter or different kind of ignition. I lean towards electric starter... Drawback is additional 6...8 kg (13...17 lbs) weight from starter, starting ring, heavy wiring, possible bigger battery, starting relay... |

Kun sain s�hk�ty�t t�h�n vaiheeseen ett� pystyin py�rittelem��n moottoria potkurista, selvisi ett� tarvitsen s�hk�startin tai toisenlaisen sytytysj�rjestelm�n. Moottoriin rakennettu CDI sytytys vaatii useamman puristuksen yli py�ritt�misen jotta kipin� alkaa s�tki�. K�yt�nn�n syist� olen kallistunut s�hk�startin puolelle vaikka siit� tuleekin lis�painoa kaikkineen joku 6...8 kg. Tarvitaan startti, starttikeh�, paksut kaapelit, starttirele, ehk� suurempi akku.... |
