THURSDAY, 20 Feb. – Marianne Timmer finished as the number 21. She lost her olympic title to Anni Friesinger. The number two was Sabine Volker, Rodriguez was the number three.

MONDAY, 18 Feb. – Marianne Timmer has finished as fourth at the 1000 meter in Salt Lake City. The new olympic champion is the American Chris Witty, in a new world record of 1.13.83. Second best was Sabine Volker (1.13.96), Jennifer Rodriquez is the number third (1.14..24). Timmer hoped for a time of 1.13.8. She knew her time was good ( a brand new PR and NR, almost a second quicker than her old PR!) but not good enough for a medal. “I didn’t give it away, they deserve it” she said about her olympic title.

FRIDAY, 15 Feb. – Marianne Timmer has become the number eight. Timmer scated very, very good and finished in a time of 37.87, a new PR. LeMay-Doan has also won the second race and she is the winner of the 500 meter. Garbrecht is second, Volker is third. The Dutch Andrea Nuyt has not scated a good race, she is the number fourth.

THURSDAY, 14 Feb. – Marianne Timmer has to start in race 11 of the second 500 meter at the Olympic games.

THURSDAY, 14 Feb. – Marianne Timmer finished in a time of 38.30 as number thirteen. Catriona LeMay-Doan has won the first 500 as expected(37.30), Garbrecht was the runner up in a time of 37.34. Andrea Nuyt was third, 37.54 a new Dutch record.

WEDNESDAY, 13 Feb. – Marianne Timmer has to start in race 10.

SUNDAY, 25 nov. - Anni Friesinger is the winner of the 1500 meter, held in Den Haag. Her time was 2.00.31. Cindy Klassen is the number two, 2.01.20, Tabata third, 2.01.39.

SUNDAY, 11 Nov. - Anni Friesinger has won the 1500 meter(1.57.86). Jennifer Rodriquez was the number two (1.58.10), Sabine Volker finished as third (1.58.30).

SUNDAY, 4 Nov. - Marianne Timmer has finshed as second best at the 1500 meter in Groningen. Her race was good, but Tonny de Jong was better. Timmer finished in a time of 2.04.31.

SATURDAY, 3 Nov. - Marianne Timmer has become the dutch champion of the 1000 meter in Groningen. Only the Olympic champion skated a time that was faster than 1.20 seconds: 1.19.79.

FRIDAY, 2 Nov. - The skating season has begun. The NK distances are hold this weekend in Groningen. Just like last year, Andrea Nuyt was the winner. The results of the 500 meter woman are:
