"I Believe" They came before the begining of time, Waiting for the mortal chime. Hoping that life will have sprung, And a breath from a mortal lung. Mortals came & mortals gone, They reached for the beautiful dawn. They are here to bless life, And life itself. Then there became the very first elf. They danced, they pranced, they twirled all night, Then there became the very first sprite. They all are here to open our minds, and open our hearts. They feed on pond & ocean tarts. Our minds & hearts is what they retrieve, Faeries, Elves, & Sprites... Oh yes, I BELIEVE! ~By Emma~
The Woods are full of Faeries! The trees are all alive; The river overflows with them, See how they dip and dive! What funny little fellows! What dainty little dears! They dance and leap, and prance and peep, And utter Faerie cheers I'd like to tame a faerie, To keep it on a shelf, And dress its little self. I'd teach it pretty manners, It always should say "please", And then you know I'd make it sew, And curtsey with its knees! ~Unknown~

"Where?" Where are the Faeries? Where can we find them? We've seen the Faerie~rings they leave behind them! When they have danced all night, where do they go? Lark,in the sky above, say, do you know? Is it a secret no one is telling? Why in your garden surely they're dwelling! No need for journeying, seeking afar: Where there are flowers, there Faeries are! ~Cicely M. Barker~
"If You See A Faerie Ring" If you see a Faerie ring, In a field of grass, Very lightly step around, Tip~Toe as you pass, Last night Faeries frolicked there~ And they're sleeping somewhere near. If you see a tiny Faerie, Lying fast asleep, Shut your eyes, And run away, Do not stay to peek! Do not tell Or you'll break a Faerie spell. ~Author Unknown~

"Stars and Magic" Believe in the Faeries That make dreams come true, Believe in the wonder The stars and the moon Believe in the magic From the Faeries above, They dance on the flowers And sing songs of love And if you just believe And always stay true, The Faeries will be there To watch over you! ~Author Unknown~

"Bluebells" Where the bluebells and wind are, Faeries in a ring I spied, And I heard a little linnet Singing near beside. Where the primrose and the dew are, Soon were sped the Faeries all: Only now the green turf freshens, And the linnets call. "The Faeries Dancing" I heard along the early hills, Ere yet the lark was risen up, Ere yet the dawn with firelight fills The night-dew of the bramble cup,-- I heard Faeries in a ring Sing as they tripped a lilting round Soft as the moon on wavering wing. The starlight shook as if with sound, As if with echoing, and the stars Pranked their bright eyes with trembling gleams; While red with war the gusty Mars Rained upon Earth his ruddy beams. He shone alone, low down the West, While I, behind a hawthorn-bush, Watched on the Faeries flaxen-tressed The fires of the morning flush. Till, as a mist, their beauty died, Their singing shrill and fainter grew; And daylight tremulous and wide Flooded the moorland through and through; Till Urdons copper weathercock Was reared in golden flame afar, And dim from moonlit dreams awoke The towers and Groves or Arroar. "The Ruin" When the last colours of the day Have from their burning ebbed away, About that ruin, cold and lone, The cricket shrills from stone to stone; And scattering o'er its darkened green, Bands of Faeries may be seen, Clattering like grasshoppers, their feet Dancing a thistledown dance round it: While the great gold of the mild moon Tinges their tiny acorn shoon.
