In the garden we plant our seeds,
We toil, pray, and pull the weeds.
In hope that we may reap great gain,
~With a little help of a little rain.
To those who know~ there is a secret!
Tiny little helpers, whom I have met.
They're shy of those who dislike flowers,
Where they also, have worked for hours.
Wee little pixies~ faeries I mean,
Down in the garden, rarely seen.
Tending the blue bells to bring great joy,
For quietly passing girl or boy.
From the trees when the dew's yet wet,
They fly down onto rose and violet.
Caring for the garden is their love;
And berries and fruit that grow above.
Please take care when you are strolling,
Or harvesting veggies in the morning.
A Garden Faerie is a wondeful gift,
She's sure to give your garden a lift!
