Hi Welcome to this website, it contains photos of the Sandford School (formerly the English School) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia during the 1970s. The site started in 2001, mainly with photos of the Class of 1974-75 (my class) and the Class of 1972-73 (my brother Alberto's class), other school friends, plus other photos of my younger brother German who was then in primary school. It slowly grew with the addition of other classes' photos sent by school friends, over the years. Both brothers have now their own website, Alberto's family website www.don-tardio.com and German's school website www.amerinst79.com.
I can now really say that the work I put in is now giving its results, thanks to this website and FB our community of old Sandforian Alumnai is growing and we are having nice surprices from time to time.
I am very happy to hear from you and keep hoping to hear from other friends who have not yet contacted. If you want to share your photos send them to me and I promise to do my best to put them up.

* 1 July 2009: Lots of news: Contacts with old friends are really increasing recently, thanks to the website and then ofcourse Face Book and Skype which makes it all easier! I have introduced a new page with photos of Class 1972 donated by Harout Nalbandian and efficiently sent to me by Seza his lovely wife. Thanks!!! (Names in the photos will follow...)
August 2009 Very happy! Today I had a new entry in the Guestbook! Veronica Heintze! you will soon hear from her. We have been exchanging e-mails and hope to see each other in NY when I go there! It is just amazing! Good news also that I met Zac and made new contacts with many other Sandfordians in FB, so try joining FB!
