It was a bright day in July. After a little more than four years of living in Addis we left for good! My father was transferred to Kaboul, Afghanistan. Germán my younger brother was to go to the American School of Kaboul and I to stay with my family until the beginning of 1976, and then, leave for Chile to start Universtiy in March 1976. I had been accepted in the University of Chile to read Business Administration. I keep the fondest memories of those years in Addis, we were all from so different cultures, backgrounds, religions, etc, and it did not matter. We loved each other and had a wonderful time!
