The Webmistress Whipstress, Claire Sills

Well...I guess I better explain who I am now then, aren't I? Here's what you'll get out of me.

My name is Clarene, known mostly by Claire and hopefully the future "Claire Sills." I'm 17 years old and recently graduated Scripps Ranch High School. I'm of Filipino descent so I have tan skin (although I wish it was lighter like when I was 7 years old...), dark brown eyes and same hair color. I do wear glasses since I can't really afford contacts, have regular ear piercings (one on each earlobe), and used to wear braces back in HS freshman-sophomore and slightly junior year.

My favorite color is pink, and also black. I love listening to The Scarlet Pimpernel Soundtracks constantly in my car. I guess my favorite songs out of there is Storybook and I'll Forget You. My favorite video games involve RPGs so mainly the Final Fantasy series as well as Kingdom Hearts. So I own a PS1, PS2, and a Gameboy Advance. TV shows I mainly watch are The Closer, Project Runway, Starter Wife, and Coach. My favorite movie...well...I don't know how to pick this. I've got such an extensive collection that my favorites change over time. Usually I answer this question with a Moulin Rouge though. I read plenty of books -- manga, romance novels, and comedy. My favorite one would be The Masquerade by Brenda Joyce. Favorite food is, well, dessert! However my cousin Baneena says that I looooove pizza. Which may be true. Especially with mushrooms.

Favorite flower would, of course, be a Scarlet Pimpernel (latin name Anagallis arvensis) and I'm actually growing some in my garden, surprisingly. Favorite scent would have to be the Lancome Hypnose perfume. Favorite animal is a BUNNY! If you hadn't figured out by now I got these questions out of a survey so I'll stop here for that.

I actually play some musical instruments: piano and flute, though I haven't played flute since elementary school and my piano does need some tuning. I love to sing, and really, I want to be an actress. Instead, I'm going for a biology major at San Diego State University so I guess my dreams will have to wait. I wanted to be a fashion designer but after a few years of cosplaying, I figured that had to wait too. I'm single, and I love to laugh a lot. According to my friends, I also LOVE to TALK a lot! I'm no socialite, so I'm pretty shy, but when I get in the mood I can be REALLY loud. I'm fluent in English (Well duh, it's my first language) and speak a little bit of Japanese (studied it for three years). In my spare time I read books, watch TV, play video games, or work on sewing my own clothes (and costumes). I love to travel as well. In the past, I've been to the Philippines, Arizona, Washington, Canada, Hawaii, France, England, and a bunch of other places where the airplanes, cars, and trains took me. However that was all still in elementary school and a little bit in middle school. In August (2007) I'll be going to Illinois to visit one of my best friends. So yay, plane, but by myself. It's a bit scary.

My main two best friends are Angelica and Rachel. Others involve Janina (Baneena), Kristina, and a whole lot of other people that I can't remember right now or am too lazy to list but they know who they are. Rachel and I hang out a lot and she and Janina are the usual ones who bump with me in my car. I may be single, but my heart is taken by that actor, Douglas Sills,. According to Rachel, I was "married" and then I got "divorced." This was in reference to my two-and-a-half-year obsession with Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. Neither of us know when I got "divorced," though, but it's like I got into an affair. Really funny.
