| The excitement escalated as the Trooper danced the winding roads through the Flint Hills of eastern Kansas. After several hours of driving through the sparsely decorated countryside of northern Texas and through the entire red dusty state of Oklahoma, the dancing Trooper was picking up it�s step and was entering the densely tree-covered Flint Hills that owned the quaint, collegiate town of Manhattan, Kansas, known as the �Little Apple.� Manhattan was Mason and Jory�s favorite place. This is where they wanted their home to be. | |||||||||||||||||
| What he did understand was how to exploit the character of an entrepreneur. All entrepreneurs had a common attribute, all were ambitious and all were dreamers. They had dreams and visions that were barely attainable due to extreme obstacles. Most were extremely desperate after months that had turned into years of very hard, laborious work. Their only thought was to get some relief and assure a way to succeed. The workload was tremendous with back aching schedules. Days without ends, with minutes after minutes, hours after hours, all running together and being totally oblivious to issues other than accomplishing the needed deadlines. They did anything and everything that was needed to survive. | |||||||||||||||||
| The snow was about six inches deep by early evening. The wind was howling from the north, arctic air was spiraling down. Mason trimmed and manipulated the fit of the tree into the snug green stand while Jory made a home for it. By midnight, the fireplace was crackling with warmth, radiating the whole house. The tree was decorated. It sparkled, and twinkled with vivid reds, greens and shimmers of silver. It was really a gorgeous tree and was relaxing to the human eye. Contentment sat in through the eyes of the soul. The two sat mesmerized by all the warmth and beauty and listened to the howling of the wind through the chimney. They warmed their hearts by the beauty and their bodies by the fire. | |||||||||||||||||
