My story

"My full name is Dexter Felipe Williams. I was born on April 9th, 1986, which makes me 21 years old. Since then, I have traveled to Maryland, Connecticut, and California. I remember living in Monterey, California. Always an imaginative thinker, my big break happened on Christmas 1994 when I received my first computer, a word processor. In no time, I knew how to type short stories. One of my biggest creations, When They Got Distracted, was created on December 25, 1994 (Christmas Day), when I watched an “Are You Afraid Of The Dark?” episode, “The Tale Of The Midnight Ride”. I found my true calling once I saw this episode. My comic, When They Got Distracted mostly dealt with the battle of the sexes (boy versus girl), but however, nobody really got the chance to see it, so I had to stick with short stories. I was only eight years old when I created this masterpiece. Ten years later, I am quickly learning about famous people and creating characters that look like them in their own unique way. Nine years later, I created a story series that was aimed at teens, "Alexis Hurst". This was created on July 30th, 2003. A new Hollywood-style series is set for release this year.

What concerns me most of the time are my dislikes. One of my pet peeves is injustice (i.e. kidnappings, fights, murders, violence against women, etc.), and I also hate punk and Goth styles (in a negative manner), but I realize I have no control over a person who might like it. I may like the music, but I can’t stand songs dealing with death, blood, suicide, alienation, or dangerous situations. It’s making me think that Marilyn Manson, a bizarre musician from 1998, and Trent Reznor, a haunting musician from 1994, are causing a harrowing, demented nightmare. I don’t even know who Trent Reznor is, but I am a huge fan of Avril Lavigne and Fefe Dobson. I can express everyday life problems into short stories.

While I’m not working on When They Got Distracted or Alexis Hurst (now simply called R.A.C.E.R.41 as of 9/24/04), I am currently in my junior year at Wake Technical Community College. My plans for the future are to get both stories published, develop software for PC games, and to pass all classes. I also enjoy finding interesting things on the Internet, and traveling in my spare time."
