The extension mechanism, seen in the topmost portion of the photograph, is part of the dining table.  It was designed by the Greenes to form a pattern look, similar to a Japanese puzzle.
A gnarled oak tree of leaded glass sustains a transition from exterior to interior.  The contrast between shingled walls and teak doors hint at the elegance inside.
Two inviting paths:  one of pressed brick curves toward the edge of the pond, the other of river stone leads into the garden
Teak staircase wall and bannister in the entry hall.  Each horizontal board forms the side of a step;  the hand rail creates a rhythmic pattern matching the risers and threads of the stairs.
Steel straps with wedges surround corbels supporting the top flight of the stairway.
