Here are excerpts from our contract. There is a little more, but these are the main terms. --- All of our Pet quality puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract, and sold on a "Limited Registration". "Limited Registration" means, the pup/dog itself is AKC registered, but none of it's offspring are eligable for registration. If it is an older dog, which is not on "Limited Registration", AKC papers will be held until we receive a signed statement from your vet that the dog was spayed/neutered. All puppies are sold with a health guarantee. -- 72 hours against any health or temperament irregularities, a refund will be given for any dog found unsatisfactory during the first 72 hours. Hereditary diseases, for 1 year after purchase date. We will replace the dog with another of equal quality (when available) it it has to be put down for a hereditary defect, within the 1 year time frame. (Must have a signed statement from attending vet).
If at any time buyer should be unable to keep this dog, the seller must be notified. We will then try to help place the dog in a proper home. (This dog will not be sold or given to Puppy Millers, Pet Shops, or anyone who retails in the sale of dogs, or a Dog Pound, Humane Society, etc., by either party.) If reasonable efforts have been made to place the dog and all fail, or if an emergency situation, where the dog must be placed immediately, we will take the dog back, with original papers, (all expenses of returning the dog will be paid by the returnee). No refund of any kind will be given and the dog is ours to dispose of as we see fit. This clause does not apply to any co-owned dog, or dogs on any other contracts.
