.Our Facilities.

Here at Maplecreek we have 45 acres of sparkling green grass and rolling hills. There are 3 large fields which are about 6 acres each, they are used mostly for our gelding group, mare group and our mares with foals group. Once and a while we will have the geldings and mares mixed in the different fields just so they don't get bored with one. We have 10 stallion paddocks which are 1 1/2 acres each, there are 4 paddocks which we use mostly for yearlings, weanlings and when we want to have less in the fields. They are all 3 1/2 acres each. We have 1, 4 acre paddock which is used for trailers at shows and for when we need and extra turnout area. All fields and paddocks have automatic watered troughs and feeders for hay in the summer when our horses are turned out pretty much all day.

We have 3 barns. Our first one, which is the largest and our main one has 30 stalls. We use it for our mares, geldings and boarders. The stalls are 12 X 12 for comfort and have swing out feeders, automatic waterers and a 4 X 6 window in each stall that can opened for comfort on warm days when the horses anre inside. There are 2 tack rooms, 1 for boarders and one for us. There are also 2 heated wash stalls and a feed room. We have an office as well. The second barn is our stallion barn, used strictly for our stallions unless a boarder brings in a stallion. There are 12 stalls. The stalls are 12 X 14 for these big guys. They also have automatic waterers, swing out feeders and a 4 X 6 window. We have 1 feed room, 1 tack room and 1 wash stall in this barn. Our last barn is our broodmare barn. There are 6 stalls in this barn, all of which are 14 X 16. This barn has the same features as the stallion barn. Both the main barn and stallion barn have wood shavings for bedding and straw is used in the broodmare barn.

We have 2 indoor dirt arenas. Both are 85 X 200. They both have a heated viewing area which have a fridges, microwaves, coffee makers and vending machines. There is also a bathroom there too. We have 1 grass jumping ring outside, and 2 outdoor sand rings, one is 100 X 250 and the other is 90 X 200. There are small sets of stands around the outdoor rings for our shows, there is also an elevated judges booth.

We have 2 60' round pens. they are used for breaking youngsters and training older horses.

We try to provide the best possible care and facilities so our horses live happier lives, having less stress on the boarders and us too!
