These pictures were taken on August 26, 2005.

Max is the first to come out... Maochai was nervous during his delivery. Mom went roaming around the amusement room looking for a place to give birth. She ended up delivering Max on the floor without towels/blankets. When max came out the purple bubble must have touched the floor letting him stay in the cold. But after Maochai licked him and cleaned him up, we gave them blankets and water for Mom.

The other picture is the very first solo picture of Max. He was delivered healthy and with no deformations neither did Maochai had any complications. He weighed, 19.68 ounces and 6.5 inches long at birth!

After Mom's cleaning, Max instinctly searched for Mom's teet and sucked. At first, he wasn't able to latch correctly, assisting the puppy will be fulfilling for anyone to do, so i did assist and Max sucked for a very long time!
