At 2 weeks of age... Max, Scooby and MJ initiates eye opening and lapping!

At 4 days old, I started giving them temporary milk replacement intending for weight gain and sufficient feeding. Maochai feeds them good but after a couple of days after whelping, maybe she wanted to get much more rest than she usually does. Giving the pups replacement milk helped Maochai very well and gave me more time to bond with the pups as well.

By the time this picture was taken, Max weighs 35 ounces/2.1875 pounds. Max's ears are fully opened and voluntary bowel motions began. Four days before these pictures were taken, They all initiated walking... It wasn't a well-balanced strides but at least they were eager to learn how to manipulate their legs and follow certain scents they can smell. Three days before this picture, Max alone can urinate on his own! I didn't have to worry about him, neither did I have to stimulate him to urinate. Vitamins were also given starting when they were a week-and-a-half.

A lot of things had happened already to Max even only at 2 weeks old. Actually, he already fell down from the bed during this week. He didn't suffer from any back injuries and anything. But the good thing is, he was able to learn how to stop roaming around instinctly when he is at the end of the bed.
